Re: Babolat vs Wilson

I agree with OffsideSpin on this one. I just a few weeks ago switched to a HEAD Microgel Prestige and have to say that it is the BEST racquet I have ever used. Total control and as much power as...

Re: Need a Racket for a total newbie

Having played Prince racquets for years I have nothing bad to say about them. I would say to go with Prince as a new player only because of the large sweet spot. They make some of the largest...

Re: HEAD FXP strings??

I have a friend that strings his prestige at 65lbs. I hit with it last week and I could swing as hard as I could and the ball would drop at the service line. I had never hit with control like that...

Re: Stringing question (possibly for jazar)......

If I learn how to do a good job myself, and if I get a machine that is middle of the line, I only have to gain and nothing to lose. Are there places online (youtube etc) where I could see how it is...

Re: Stringing question (possibly for jazar)......

Is it hard to learn how to string a racquet? Does the quality of the machine also depend on the quality of the stringing job? Maybe putting a few hundred into a machine would payoff down the road...

Re: Should i consider buying used racquet?

I really liked it also. I agree with you that you need to be perfect with your swing. It took me a bit to get used to the small head but once I didit was a pleasure to hit with. I was able to...

Re: Should i consider buying used racquet?

Hey Jazar...what is your opinion of the prestige mid. I used my friends the other day and first thought it was going to be small at only 93sq in. It was really smooth and had great control for me. ...

Re: Strings and shoulder pain

I agree. I still have suspect that the strings have something (even if it is just a little) to do with the pain. I love these strings though. When you find strings you enjoy playing with switching...

Re: Strings and shoulder pain

As it turns out, my doctor diagnosed me with having shoulder tendonitis. Rest and ibuprofin seems to be in order. Keep hitting with the kevlar strings cuz it wasn't the strings that gave me shouder...

Strings and shoulder pain

Re: fairly new to this game, need new racquet.

Having had alot of play with the Prince racquets you mentioned (White, Black and Ozone7) I would say to go with 03 Speedport White PRO. For me at least, It allowed me to get much more spin on my...

Re: Prince Top Spin strings

Is that due to the floating strings and not being set into grommets? What is a good durable yet spinny string? I guess it is also personal preference also.

Re: Prince Top Spin strings

Why would you say they won't last long? I am finding that I am going through strings much faster than I did last year. I'm just curious as to why you would think so. Is it the racquet?
