Re: Miami R3: [8] Berdych def. [26] Tomic, 6-7(4) 7-6(3) 6-1 (saved 4 MPs)

Now this is the textbook definition of a choke, Berdych did play much better after breaking Tomic when the latter was serving for the match but the Australian should have won earlier.

Match stats:

Rafa wasn't playing well but Fer's FH was on fire for most of the match and it was eventually what made the difference.

Re: 2015 Indian Wells Final: [1] Djokovic defeats [2] Federer 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-2

Novak was excellent in the first set, should have won in straights but clowned in the TB (I give Roger merit for breaking back there tho).

Roger couldn't find a first serve during the entire match...

Re: Is Swiss Tennis screwed after Fed and Wawa?

The fact that they produced Hingis, Federer and Wawrinka is extraordinary on itself considering the size of the country and seeing that most Swiss prefer winter sports anyway.

The girls' side looks...

Re: Best examples of chokes on paper, that aren't actually chokes?

Basically anything that isn't squandering a MP can't honestly be called a choke. MTF has gotten way too liberal with that term.

Re: Dubai [F]: Federer def. Djokovic 6-3 7-5

In my opinion, this is the best match-up of the big 4, because both players usually do their best against the other and play great points, this match wasn't their best but it is far much more...

Re: Sergiy Stakosvsky embarrassing pseudo intellectual Brad Gilbert on twitter

^^^^

Stakho always whines when he loses: the balls, the courts, he was tired, injured, etc. Crybaby.

AO F: Bolelli/Fognini def. Herbert/Mahut 6-4 6-4

Fog ranting at a bad call, double touch in Mahut's side. Loved when he told Ramos "te la comiste con patatas" (you totally missed it)...

Re: AO QF: Wawrinka def. Nishikori 6-3 6-4 7-6(6)

Stan in imperious form, there was nothing Nishikori could do but wait for his errors 'cuz he was being outhit by the Swiss on the baseline. That dropshot at 6-6 on the TB tho......

Red face Re: AO 2015 QF: (7) T. Berdych def. (3) R. Nadal 6-2 6-0 7-6(5)

For the record, it's not the same to be 30 with Seppi's career than with Federer's, the wear and tear of the latter is far greater than the former.

I'd say the same if you asked me to compare Rafa's...

Re: AO 2015 QF: (7) T. Berdych def. (3) R. Nadal 6-2 6-0 7-6(5)

Nole doesn't have such a polarizing fanbase as Fedal do, he's the #1 ranked played (deservedly so, I'm not a fan but I respect his accomplishments greatly) but he doesn't cause these "passions", at...

Re: AO 2015 QF: (7) T. Berdych def. (3) R. Nadal 6-2 6-0 7-6(5)

It's the same thing over and over and over again since 2005 with the Fedal fantards  One side is happier over the rival player losing than their actual fave winning

I don't like...
