Re: 'Injured' Raonic makes a slam dunk in an endless loop.

This is no longer true. The paradigm has shifted from big men dominating down low to floor spacing and jacking up 3s. The current best team in the world does absolutely no big man game, their star is...

Re: Memphis QF: [1]Nishikori def. Kukushkin 6-2 6-4

No worries :yeah:

Yes, it's a good milestone all things considered. Hope he can get to 300 still this year, he won't play any more 250s after Memphis so it'd be a sign that he's going deep very...

Re: WWW Memphis SF: Nishikori vs Querrey

He already has one, from the 2010 tournament.

Querrey is no joke on these Memphis courts, he was playing like a hybrid of peak Sampras and Djokovic last year here, I expect another tough one...

Re: Memphis QF: [1]Nishikori def. Kukushkin 6-2 6-4

Supreme yet again from the Memphis GOAT, another beautiful tennis display :yeah:

You should add to the title and the OP that this was Nishikori 250th career win and 15th consecutive win in Memphis.

WWW Memphis SF: Nishikori vs Querrey

Reedition of last year's incredible semifinal, where Querrey played the match of his life and pushed Nishikori to his very limit. Querrey in Memphis might well be the second highest level of tennis...

Re: Rotterdam QF: Klizan def. Bautista Agut 6-7(5) 7-6(6) 6-0, saves 5 MPs

Beautiful result. Klizan vs Mahut will be a great and exciting semifinal.

RBA is so overrated on MTF, especially lately. Just another Ferrer, nothing more. Keep vulturing those weak 250s

Re: Memphis R2: (WC) Fritz def (2) Johnson 7-6(5) 7-6(7)

Count me in that group, Johnson is massively overranked for sure.

I don't find beating Johnson impressive per se, but I was impressed by Fritz's game; he's very raw, but it's clear he's...

Re: Rotterdam R2: [WC] Zverev def. [3] Simon, 7-5 3-6 7-6(4)

Berdych is a freak though, he's never injured, he's basically indestructible and amazingly consistent. In Miami, he'll play his 50th (!) consecutive Masters 1000, that's an all-time record, he'd also...

Re: Memphis R2: (WC) Fritz def (2) Johnson 7-6(5) 7-6(7)

Johnson is like a walking shrine to tennis mediocrity, only Ferrer could contrive a way to face this guy in an ATP 500 final :o

Fritz is still very raw, I have no doubts that if these two face...

Re: Rotterdam R2: [WC] Zverev def. [3] Simon, 7-5 3-6 7-6(4)

Djokovic and Murray have just been much better than del Potro/Cilic through their careers. Both del Potro and Cilic have the firepower to beat them but it only happens sporadically because:

(1) in...

Memphis R2: Fritz def. Johnson 7-6 7-6 - Tennis wins big time

What an amazing result for tennis. Fritz is so ridiculously talented, lovely game. Hope he can get to the final here and face Nishikori, he certainly can do it!

Best US backhand since... Agassi?

Re: Rotterdam R2: [WC] Zverev def. [3] Simon, 7-5 3-6 7-6(4)

These H2Hs need context. del Potro's career has been destroyed by systematic injuries ever since he turned 21, even so whenever he was fit he was never outmatched by those 2 or anyone else, whenever...

Re: Rotterdam R2: [WC] Zverev def. [3] Simon, 7-5 3-6 7-6(4)

What? They didn't 'destroy' him even after del Potro had his first major surgery and lost all his progress/momentum, let alone before it

Anyway, I like the del Potro comparisons, I actually...

Re: Which percentage of adult Americans would successfully solve this riddle?

I think (and hope) you're seriously underestimating people if you think only 25% would get the answer given an hour to do it. Quickly yes, only people wired to think Mathematically would instantly...

Re: Which percentage of adult Americans would successfully solve this riddle?

It wasn't a dig at you, I meant anyone following the OP's condition ie an hour, etc... I have a very Mathematical mind, so I knew the answer instantly but I'm aware most people's minds aren't quite...

Re: Which percentage of adult Americans would successfully solve this riddle?

Indeed :p

As for the question, I don't know much about the education system in America, but I'll assume that anyone who gets to high school can solve this 'riddle', especially if given 1 hour to...

Re: Which percentage of adult Americans would successfully solve this riddle?

Yes, this is a pretty basic one. You'd expect anyone with at least an elementary level of Maths to solve it without any problem, regardless of nationality.

WWW Memphis QF: Nishikori vs Kukushkin

Re: Has Andrew Murray, OBE "vultured" his #2 ranking?

Federer has been better and would almost certainly have won the last 3 Slams if not for Djokovic, but he skipped tournaments like Miami or Canada and is generally not as consistent as he once was....

Re: Wawrinka predicts no CYGS for Djokovic.

Great idea, that will show him. Wawrinka won't dare hating on No1e anymore after he sees your sig.

I think Roddick needs some tough love too, remember him calling No1e a faker? You should add the...
