Re: Nadal Asked to avoid Bernardes

I couldn't agree more. Either he has done this as well in the past, or he's afraid that Nadal will not like him anymore. If he really values equality this match, he should speak out against this kind...

Re: FIFA Officials Arrested on Corruption Charges; Face Extradition to U.S.

One of the cases where corruption was found was the 2011 election which Blatter won ofc. despite this, he is not a suspect ...
One can only hope that they're building a case against him, and are...

Re: Roland Garros R2: S.Johnson def, S.Stakhosky 2-6 6-3 7-6(5) 7-6(6)

Re: RG R3: Dzumhur def. Baghdatis 6-4, 6-3, 4-6,6-2

Saw bits and pieces of this match. Marcos was pretty poor, Damir was mostly standing in the stands. He was the better player however

Re: Nadal Asked to avoid Bernardes

to be fair, I can understand bringing up corruption, and knowing oranges, he's just using hyperboles.
Anyways, you cannot control what others say, only what you yourself say. So why not focus on...

Re: RG R1: [6]R. Nadal def. Q.Halys 6-3 6-3 6-4

Quite impressed with Halys. He was never going to win against Nadal ofcourse, but he played well. Big big forehand and the rest of his game looked pretty good aswell. Can see this guy doing some...

Re: RG R1: Djokovic def. Nieminen 6-2, 7-5, 6-2

Nieminen played well, very offensive. Novak did very well to win this in straights

Re: Nadal Asked to avoid Bernardes

actually, the lack of criticism toward Nadal from his fanbase is abit disturbing.
This is not reserved for Nadal fans alone ofcourse, but it wouldn't hurt to admit that what he does here isn't good...

Re: Doping in Tennis Thread (No accusations without proof. Wada could test using hair

It is really sad to see a thread as important as this one turn into an endless list of nonsense posts by blinded fans of some players....

Re: Roland Garros R1: [14] Tsonga def. Lindell 6-1 6-2 6-2

Lindell has nothing to harm anyone in the top 100. Him making R1 of a grand slam is a pretty good achievement.
Total cakewalk for Tsonga, but he won't be able to take anything from this win

Re: FO R1 Lajovic d. M.Gonzalez 6-3 6-3 6-1

Maximo soiling the great Gonzalez name as per usual.
Lajovic seems to have found some form, I like his technique, but he needs to improve his footwork, fitness and shot selection

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 13

The drop in popularity is probably because there have been less relevant Swedes in tennis. Soderling did well, but I wonder if he was very popular. He idoesn't seem like a very social guy.

Dutch...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 13

Lindells footwork looks really poor. He is too late on so many shots. Might be why he has so little power

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 13

Have there been changes in sport in the last decades? Any sports that have grown greatly in popularity for example?

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 13

Well he seems to be hitting it alot harder now. His technique on the fh side looks quite good actually. Should be able to get plenty of pace off that side. He seems to have a tendency to lean...

Re: RG R1: (24) Gulbis def. Sijsling 6-4, 6-4, 7-6 (3)

Sijsling is hopeless. Just keep bringing the ball back for 3 or more shots consistently and he'll selfdestruct.
