Re: Barcelona Final: RAFA Nadal - Dominic Thiem 6-4 6-1 (wins the 2nd La Decima)

You beat whoever is across the net. What you're saying sounds like the crap they used to write back in his heyday: "but he didn't play so and so..." Not his fault those alleged better players lost...

Re: Barcelona Final: RAFA Nadal - Dominic Thiem 6-4 6-1 (wins the 2nd La Decima)

Vintage Nadal. Didn't think we'd see it again, but it's a joy watching this man in his element. Sheer dominance, both from a mental and physical perspective.

Here's hoping it lasts through RG!

Re: Nadal files lawsuit against Roselyne Bachelot

You are suggesting you know better than Nadal whether he is in a position to take said step. And I say: bullshit.

Good on Rafa.

Re: Barcelona QF: Nadal def. Fognini 6-2 7-6(1)

Says you. I see it differently: he should always lose to Rafa in straights.

Re: WTF RR Match 3: [5] Nadal def. [7] Ferrer 6-7, 6-3, 6-4

So now it's "dumb" for tennis players to give it their all. Right.

You seem to be suggesting that Rafa could take "advantage" of Novak "situation." Which is?

Never mind what you wrote...

Re: WWW ? Beijing SF: [3] Nadal vs Fognini

Rafa to continue soiling his legacy -- though if he doesn't care why should anyone else?

Re: The Rafael Nadal Curse 2015 Edition

I've heard this over and over this year. First four or five...meh. When you get past ten it's just one more bullshit excuse.

This comes from someone who's been following Rafa since '03.

Not going to happen. But I'd love to be proved wrong.

Re: Is Rafa ready to defend his 2013 US Open title? You be the judge!

Don't see it. Never thought I'd say this, because like almost everyone else, fans and haters alike, I thought his decline would be physical, but it's his former iron-will that's failing him.

Re: Nadal calls Berdych a youngster and future contender

Re: Nadal calls Berdych a youngster and future contender

Meanwhile I was referring to, you know...his tennis prowess. This being a tennis forum after all.

Color me surprised.

Re: Nadal calls Berdych a youngster and future contender

He's been rich beyond belief for many a year. It just so happens the demand is still there.

Got any more miscued digs?

Re: 10 years ago 19 yo Nadal won 1st HC M1000 vs legend Agassi

Bullshit. He became a star way before his haters came-up with trite accusations such as yours in hopes of demeaning his amazing record.

Re: Nadal calls Berdych a youngster and future contender

Part and parcel of professional sports -- top stars in any sport make more from endorsements than they do from from playing their sports. Glad I could clear that up for you.

Re: Nadal calls Berdych a youngster and future contender

Dunno. Can you? Point being (other than the the one atop of your head) it's likely easier, from a US marketing perspective, to come out as gay than it is as an atheist.

You are welcome.

Re: Nadal calls Berdych a youngster and future contender

Wrong. He's actually very intelligent. If you speak Spanish check out his series of conversations with John Carlin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Carlin_%28journalist%29) -- co-author of his...

Re: Nadal calls Berdych a youngster and future contender

In a second language. In Spanish, he is one of the (if not the most) eloquent and intelligent players in the circuit. Not afraid of controversy either -- fairly open about his agnostic/atheist stand.

Re: Which hypothetical player would have the most slams?

Meanwhile, I don't think either Fed nor Djokovic have missed any in their careers.

That said, if my Grandma had a...
