Re: Acapulco SF: [2] Ferrer def. [Q] Harrison, 4-6 6-0 6-0

:haha: a double bagel by Ferrer? Rothenberg and co were probably just preparing to restart the US hype train for Harrison after set one

Re: What makes a vulture?

Someone like Monaco is the prime candidate for a vulture- made the top 10 without making a grand slam quarter-final.

Re: Buenos Aires QF: Almagro d. [2] Robredo, 6-3 6-2

Great for humanity. Hope he wins the next two matches and saves the tournament.

Re: The Best Player Without An ATP Final?

Ah Skoff, he was always 200% better in Davis Cup than in tournaments.

Re: WWW? Dubai F: [1] Djokovic vs [2] Federer

Another stat in Djokovic's favour is that Federer leads the H2H by 2. Usually Nole pulls it back to 1 whenever this happens, but Federer edges ahead in the following match. It would beneficial to...

Re: Dubai SF: Djokovic def. Berdych 6-0 5-7 6-4

The problem IMO is less Fedalovic (I think all bar Djokovic for example are beatable for him at Wimbledon) but more his tendency to just go away and not put up a fight in the biggest matches. Even if...

Re: WWW? Dubai F: [1] Djokovic vs [2] Federer

Djokovic in 3 sets.

Court actually favours Federer, but so did grass in the Wimbledon final.

Novak will be too consistent in the end.

Re: Dubai SF: Djokovic def. Berdych 6-0 5-7 6-4

It's not going to be any better than last year. He'll lose to the first elite player he faces in the big tournaments, like he always does.

Re: Dubai SF: Djokovic def. Berdych 6-0 5-7 6-4

Bizarre match, went from a joke first 8 games or so to something somewhat competitive, partially down to a Novak dip and partially Berdych taking more risks. At least it was somewhat more...

Re: Acapulco QF: [2] Ferrer def. Tomic, 6-4 3-6 6-1

So Ferrer flies from Rio (a good few hours) to Acapulco, has one day off, changes surface yet can still storm through the draw? How bad are these opponents playing?

Re: Dubai SF: [2] Federer def. [LL] Coric 6-2 6-1

Just like the other times I've seen him, nothing all that special about Coric. Solid player, can rally, grind and good attitude but I don't see anything particularly stand out.

Re: Andre Agassi: "AO 2015 was the best tennis I have ever seen him (Murray) play""

And yet people still dismiss criticism of these ex-players who just speak shite for no reason other than to keep hyping the sport up.

Re: Franglish Thread

Certainement l'anglais est beaucoup plus facile. Je dirais que l'espagnol soit un peu plus facile. L'italien parait compliquè. cependant. Je dirais aussi que ce soit un mèlange entre le francais et...

Re: Dubai QF: Coric def. [3] Murray 6-1 6-3

Be amazed if Murray ever won a title of MS1000 level or higher in his career from here. The AO final was probably the last shot at it. He's too easily beaten in a BO3 format these days.

Re: Acapulco R2: [Q] Harrison d. [3] Dimitrov, 7-5 4-6 6-0

Tennis was going to lose either way- either Rasheed's grinder diva was going to bore his way through another round or Harrisonmug was going to send the US hype train back into overdrive. Funny result...

Facilement, parce que l'anglais ne possede pas des formes masculines et fèminines, ou le subjonctif aussi. Les pronouns sont beaucoup plus difficile en francais que l'anglais. Personne ne peut...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 6

Verdasco epitomising his entire career in 5 games. A waste. Looking forward to a probable Murderer semi.
