Re: CH Granby R2: (Q) Felix Auger Aliassime d. (8) Darian King 7-5 6-3

He's a long way from being able to compete on their level (and there's no guarantee he'll even be as good as Vasek let alone a top 5 guy in Milos, it's a long hard road) but his development will be...

Re: WWW Granby QF: Felix Auger Aliassime vs Yoshito Nishioka

I imagine Nishioka will be far too consistent for him. Although I thought that would be the case for King too.

Re: CH Granby R2: (Q) Felix Auger Aliassime d. (8) Darian King 7-5 6-3

The fact that he could basically bully a player like King around at his age is remarkable.

Re: CH Granby R1: (Q) Felix Auger Aliassime d. (Q) Andrew Whittington 6-3 6-2

It's ridiculous how completely he exposed Whittington tonight considering his age.

Who knows how his career progresses over the next few years as it's a long and hard road to the ATP, but if his...

Re: Davis Cup

When your highest ranked singles player is 272 instead of in the top 10, that can happen.

Re: Davis Cup QF: Darcis def. Dancevic 3-6, 6-1, 7-5, 6-3 Belgium leads Canada 1-0

Hurt his hand. This tie was effectively over the day Milos had to pull out, though.

Re: Will Dimitrov or Raonic Win a Title this Year?

I don't know that Milos will be 100% at any point for the rest of this season. If he is, he's obviously likely to win something. But his health with that foot is a huge question mark. He's not even...

Re: Which player is the luckiest with the draws? [2015 Edition]

He hasn't even been close to healthy since March. That's half the season. To even be in the top 10 at all is an achievement considering that.

I know you hate the guy, but this is still a pathetic...

Re: Which player is the luckiest with the draws? [2015 Edition]

It's almost like Milos has spent much of the 2015 season either playing hurt or missing tournaments due to injury, isn't it?

Re: Mcenroe: "I'd put Djokovic up there in the top five all time. I'd put him with Bo

Djokovic is arguably top 5 in the Open Era already and is clearly well on his way to being a top 5 player of all time.

Re: Is Wawrinka the only player who can beat Djokovic at a slam now?

No, Isner, Murray (on grass), and Nishikori too.

Re: WTF's line-up is already clear.

With Milos' injury still being a problem (and being out indefinitely as of right now), there's no telling when he'll be back to any kind of normalcy even when he does return during the hard court...

Re: Davis Cup

Without Milos, they went from what was 2 likely wins to 0. And of course, Vasek hasn't won a match on clay in over two years. 15% is probably being generous.

Re: Neither Raonic nor Djokovic will play Davis Cup QF's

Yeah, it was pretty obvious Milos wasn't healthy at Wimbledon and came back too soon. Hope he'll be back for Montreal, but we may not see him for even longer than that.

Needs to stop feeling...

Re: Wimbledon R4: Pospisil def. Troicki 4:6, 6:7, 6:4, 6:3, 6:3

Probably (this week is the first time he's won 3 consecutive matches in nearly a year-2014 Washington), but maybe he'll actually build on it this time.

Re: Wimbledon R4: Pospisil def. Troicki 4:6, 6:7, 6:4, 6:3, 6:3

The most intriguing thing about his tournament for me is not that Vasek made the QF. This result was always a possibility considering the draw (especially after Nadal went out) and what Vasek is...

Re: Would Federer rather face Murray or Karlovic (Bot Mode)?

Dr. Ivo for sure. Karlovic wilts under pressure, while Murray is incredibly tough to beat on this surface.

Re: Wimbledon R3: [12] Simon def. [18] Monfils, 3-6 6-3 7-6(6) 2-6 6-2

Simon is a very difficult matchup for Berdych. He could win.

Re: Wimbledon R3: [12] Simon def. [18] Monfils, 3-6 6-3 7-6(6) 2-6 6-2

Oh, I have no doubt that Monfils is very genuine in his clowning. If he wasn't, he would have accomplished something significant in this sport already.

Re: Wimbledon R3: [12] Simon def. [18] Monfils, 3-6 6-3 7-6(6) 2-6 6-2

Whether it was today or Monday, this circus was always destined to end with Simon winning in 5. Monfils won't care much, he put on the show the fans came for.

Re: Wimbledon RD 4 Pospisil vs (22) Troicki

Probably Troicki in 4, but this is very winnable for Vasek.

Re: Wimbledon R3: Pospisil def. Ward 6-4, 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 8-6

Did you care when Vasek made his run to the M1000 SF in Montreal two years ago? It was a Canadian 'mug' doing well in a top Canadian tournament after all.

Re: Wimbledon R3: Pospisil def. Ward 6-4, 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 8-6

This is the first time he's won 3 consecutive matches in nearly a year (2014 Washington), so it really hasn't helped him at all. He never plays as aggressively as he should and that really hasn't...

A story for Brits maybe, but the rest of the world doesn't care about James Ward.
