Re: O. J. Simpson Guilty of all 12 counts. Facing long term sentence

It took too long, but justice has finally been achieved . . .

Always nice to see the little guys win. :worship:

Especially when it pisses off Bilbo.

I thought that Andre and Steffi declined because their kids were starting school the day of the event or the next day?

Goodbye USA Network

You weren't perfect, but you certainly tried hard. Thanks for all the great matches throughout the years.

You will be missed. :sad::sad::sad:

Re: USO QF: Djokovic beats Roddick 6-2 6-3 3-6 7-6(5)

I finally am at a computer where I can access youtube. Interesting that Djokovic thought that Roddick said to the crowd that he "had 16 injuries." I wonder if somebody in his entourage told him...

Re: USO QF: Djokovic beats Roddick 6-2 6-3 3-6 7-6(5)

I'll add my own option here, since none of the ones on the poll fits:

Still like his game, wish he'd leave the parents home, and grow up (and also serve faster).

Re: A Djokovic Fan Gone Sour

Michael Barkan gave Djokovic more than one opportunity to turn the whole silly incident around to his favor, and the poor guy didn't take any of them; in fact, he actually made things worse. I won't...

Re: USO QF: Djokovic beats Roddick 6-2 6-3 3-6 7-6(5)

9 out of 10 fans sitting in Ashe stadium had no idea what Roddick said in his press interview. 9 out of 10 fans had no idea that Djokovic tried to make amends in his press interview. All they heard...

Re: USO QF: Djokovic beats Roddick 6-2 6-3 3-6 7-6(5)

I like the variety in Djokovic's game, but how stupid and petty can you be in an on-court interview. He should have made a joke of it, rather than reacting like a 12-year-old. He can confront...

Re: I Hate the U.S. Open: an Embarssment to Grand Slam Tennis

I think you've got the rules right. You can bring a flag in as long as it's not on a pole. And you can't drape it over the front of the row where it could blow onto the court.

Re: I Hate the U.S. Open: an Embarssment to Grand Slam Tennis

I went to Wimbledon once and here are my comments/complaints about it:

When we were on Centre Court, I felt like I was at an AARP meeting -- the average age was about 75. :help:

People were SO...

Re: I Hate the U.S. Open: an Embarssment to Grand Slam Tennis

The atmosphere on the outer courts, especially at night, is much better than on Ashe or even Armstrong. When two South Americans are playing each other, their supporters are always getting into it...

Re: I Hate the U.S. Open: an Embarssment to Grand Slam Tennis

Women's bathrooms have been fine every time I've gone to the USO. Can't speak to the men's room, however.

Re: Sarah Palin: baby baby mama?...and former candidate?

I agree that children's names are not relevant to judgment, which prompted my post, of course, given that Obama and Michelle were equally creative.

Trig is Norse for "strength." The girls were...

Re: J-Block Fired?

Steve Ulrich's comment was perfect.

I think that the J-Block just needs to raise money for charity a little more quietly. :)

Re: Players who came back from being 0-6 down in a TB

You're correct and earlier this week, the clip of John commentating for a few minutes while standing on his head (and quite red-faced) was played.

Re: Favourite sit-coms ever?

It's not a sit-com, but Monty Python was one of the funniest shows ever.

Re: aiming for body is not fair play?

Re: Favourite sit-coms ever?

I like it, but I think that Designing Women beats it the "older women's ensemble" category. Delta Burke was just hysterical.
