Re: Will attacking tennis die with Federer?

The sport evolves and works in cycles. We might have to endure a few years of mostly defensive play, but you can be sure another attack minded player/s will show up. That's just how tennis works.

Re: Will attacking tennis die with Federer?

So what if it does, deal with it. There will be some attacking player coming up ready to hit, that's how it works.

Re: How come Federer is so consistent while being so inconsistent ?

Calm down kid. I read the title and wrongfully assumed it was another thread bashing Federer.

If the forum wasn't such a shit hole and the community wasn't so bad, I might have read the post...

Re: DelPo retires Roddick 67[1] 76[4] 62 64

Remember watching him back in the day. Maybe harder for new fans to appreciate but he had some great games over the years.

Re: Did Roddick have to retire?

You are holding the fact that he was a very talented server against him lol. What is wrong with that? His serve is every much as impressive as any other shot. It served him well.

Re: Did Roddick have to retire?

You are saying he has no idea how to play tennis. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? Do you play professional tennis?

He's managed to play 10 plus years at the highest level. He knows how to...

Re: Did Roddick have to retire?

'roddick's serve extended matches far beyond the point where he deserved to still be on the court'

Deserve? What are you talking about? He deserved to be on the court every second, just as much as...

Re: Did Roddick have to retire?

Maybe you are right. I think he was unfortunate to play in an era where the greatest, most talented player played. He always gave his all in his finals with Fed. He just wasn't good enough.

Re: Did Roddick have to retire?

He's being over critical of a very good player who achieved a lot more than ole Andy Muzza ever did. Calm down kid, there was no offence intended.

Re: Did Roddick have to retire?

Tag - that's one more gramdslam than Andy Murray ever won. Roddick maximized his potential. He can walk out with his head held high knowing he competed at high level for 10+ years, winning a...

Re: Rainy weather for remainer of US Open

Why don't they just play while it's raining. What a farce, do they stop when it's raining in Football? Rugby?

Re: The Gasguet Forehand, what is it?!

Never mind that, he's the most mentally weak player on tour, including the girls. He's a mental midget playing at half of his potential.
