Re: WWW AO Final: Novak Djokovic v. Andy Murray XXXI

AO 2015 was 4 sets actually. It was tight for 2 and a half hours and then it was embarrassing. Hopefully Sunday will be more like AO 2012

Re: Australian Open R4: [2] Andy Murray def. [16] B. Tomic 6-4 6-4 7-6(4)

Murray wasn't that bad. 43/22 is a decent ratio. Tomic returned well.

Re: Paris SF: [1] Djokovic def. [4] Wawrinka, 6-3 3-6 6-0

lol what is it with Djokovic and deciding set bagels? Done it twice to both Wawrinka and Murray this year if I remember correctly. Maybe 3 times to Murray actually. I wonder how many of these he...

Re: Paris R3: (2) Murray def. (16) Goffin 6-1, 6-0

Re: Paris R3: Gasquet def. Nishikori 7-6(3) 4-1 Ret.

What happened with the point where Nishikori's racket slipped? Did Gasquet offer to play a let or was it the umpire who called it?

Re: Paris R3: (2) Murray destroys (16) Goffin 6-1, 6-0

I saw the doubles as more of a locked in result than the reverse singles given the fact that Goffin will have a day's rest

Re: ATP Players 52-Week Consistentcy (according to tennisabstract.com)

If we assume that current ATP ranking points are an indicator of a player's quality at that moment then we could also measure consistency by the standard deviation of ATP ranking points over the...

Re: Murray "devoting 2015 season to winning Davis Cup"

I'm pretty sure that would have been the meaning of the radio discussion which the original poster was half paying attention to.

Re: Davis Cup WG SF - Murray def. Tomic 7-5 6-3 6-2 (GB Wins 3-1)

Gavin Rossdale - Federer

Just watching the US Open 2005 replay on Sky Sports and I forgot that Gavin Rossdale from the band Bush used to always be at Federer matches in the early 2000s. What was the story there? Why did he...

Re: Who are the multiple Slam champions with the worst forehand? (since 2000)

Murray's forehand varies quite a lot. When it's not on he just hits it really weakly and falls back on his defence rather than making errors

Re: Lleyton Hewitt and 44 wild cards

Interesting, although I don't know if it's a record or not.
I suppose he's quite unusual in being a former world number one who hasn't really held a decent ranking for the last 6 years of his career...

Didn't Murray also beat Wawrinka from 0-2 at Wimbledon? Or was that just from 1-2?

Re: USO R1: [3] Murray def Kyrgios 75 63 46 61

Nick played better than he has been doing recently which is encouraging for him.
Some people are acting like this was some horror show when both players had around twice as many winners as unforced...
