Re: Wimbledon R3: Mayer def. Janowicz 7-6(9-7), 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5

Mentally he is still... strange I would say.

I was really impressed by the way he started the match. Sadly he lost 1st set in one point (on the other side, it's hard to win a set without breaking...

Janowicz beats Evans 6/3 6/3 7/6(5):D

If POL wins doubles tommorow, it will be extremely interesting Sunday.

Guess it's time for me to wake up for a week or so, as it's Wroclove ATP time. But as I don't see anything interesting in qualies, I will wait till...

Re: Week 30: Poznan, Poland [Main Draw]

Forgive my amateur thinking, but if it were only skills, wouldn't Federer won last Wimbledon? ;) Thank God tennis IS much more complex than "who has better shots".

Re: Week 30: Poznan, Poland [Main Draw]

Yeah, I hear it almost every time a Pole wins a match in Poland  Well, guess I have to get used to it.

So, who's tanking tommorow - Pashanski or Martin?

Re: Europe/Africa Zone Group I Play-Off: Poland at Belarus (July 18-20, 2008)

Not bad decision for Polish team, though ;)

J.Janowicz def. M.Mirnyi 6/4 7/5 6/4:eek:

Poland leads Belarus 2-0

Re: Wroclaw challenger, R1: Janowicz def. Mahut 6:4, 4:6, 6:4

If it's going to be a quick game, it's only because JJ finished playing past midnight. I don't care Mahut fixed that. It's his problem. Big win, anyway.

Re: Berrer def. Przysiężny 6-1 4-6 6-1 7-6(4)

It's US Open. How could they be worse than the rest?

According to Polish press, Przysiezny had slight problems with groin in 3rd set.

Better luck next time, Młody ;)

Re: Saturday (8/25/07) OOP & Scores

I don't have words for last 20 minutes. Wasting two "serving for match" for 7-0 in tb.

Anyway, welcome in Grand Slam, Michal :) At last.

Re: Saturday (8/25/07) OOP & Scores

He obviously doesn't know the word 'finish'. Or wants to make up for all those matches they didn't play before.

Anyway, crap.

Re: Saturday (8/25/07) OOP & Scores

I meant images of that cartoon.

Anyway, losing a set from *6-5 30-0 and struggling with injured opponent - that's him.

Re: Saturday (8/25/07) OOP & Scores

That's old story. When he was around 11, he was nicknamed like that because of his haircut, which was (they say) similiar to the one owned by Polish cartoon character from series "Zaczarowany ołówek"...

Re: Tuesday OOP & Scores

Scoreboard says Robredo won 3rd set 6-1. They're still warming up.

Maybe they were counting points during a warm-up?
