Re: Toni Nadal picks Fed's FH in "if you could have any shot" question

Not interesting. Fed's forehand today is a good/ very good shot. In his prime it was the GOAT shot, so no wonder Toni picks it up.

Re: Wimbledon's Heat Rule: Sexist?

Honestly, 1 man and 100 women. Way faster reproduction of the race.

Re: Wimbledon R1 > [2] Federer def. Dzumhur 6-1, 6-3, 6-3

Yeah, Querrey in second round. Berdych in QF, which he loves to play.
Assured to have a very tough opponent in SF, be it Murray, Nadal or Tsonga.

Want to talk about your lover Djokovic's draw?

Re: Wimbledon: Murray def Kukushkin 6-4 7-6 6-4

Murray would be the favorite against Tsonga yes, but dismissing Tsonga's chances is foolish.

Huge serve, big FH and great volleys will get you a long way on grass, no matter match up problems.

Re: WWW ? Wimbledon R2: (2)Roger Federer Vs. Sam Querrey

Tough luck getting the 5th best server in the game in R2.

Expect Querrey to suddenly become clutch.

Re: WWW Wimbledon R2: [10] Nadal vs [Q] Brown

Tsonga is way more likely to go through if Murray goes out.

And he's a far more dangerous opponent than Nadal in this tournament.

Re: WWW Wimbledon R2: [10] Nadal vs [Q] Brown

On a grass court, this would be a no-brainer.

On the clay of centre courts, it's a 50/50.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 18

Too many UEs from Fed, but at least his FH looks like a weapon again. Then again, it might just be Dzhumur that makes it look good.

Re: Wimbledon R128: [Q] Brown def. Lu 3-6 6-3 7-5 6-4

Brwon will lose against Dull. He can't beat him on clay.

Re: John McEnroe: Rafa should never play the Roland Garros again!

McEnroe is just begging for attention. Next he'll probably suggest for Djokovic to play S&V only since he's proven so much with baseline rallies already.

Re: UPDATE - Ferrer WITHDRAWS from Wimbledon; spot taken by LL Luka Vanni

So NO top 10 player in Dull's part of the draw! :spit:

El Tio has really outdone himself on this one. Even Ferrer was too much of a challenge for Dull on grass... I fully expect a Dull/ Volandri...

Re: best surface to play a dropshot

1- Grass: low, quick bounce

2- Clay: usually more time to hit a shot, therefore to control the dropshot. Players tend to be further in the court, thus making it a longer distance to reach the...

Re: Which Wimbledon outcome will cause the most "ruins"on MTF?

You read wrong. I wrote Coric. Murray outpushed by Coric on British soil, damn...

But a Nishikori W/O to Dimitrov in the final would be, I think, the most uninamously despised result of all...

Re: Which Wimbledon outcome will cause the most "ruins"on MTF?

Dimitrov wins his first slam by a Nishikori W/O.

Other results in the same tournament:

Federer defeated by Fognini after wasting 10 MP.

Nadal routined by Monaco in 3 sets.

Djokovic defeated by...

Re: 33 years old Federer so far > 6 finals out of 10 tournaments played, won 4 [more]

Oh, I thought H2H was the only thing that mattered? :spit:

Ok then, let's talk about "weak era".
You only define the previous era as "weak" because Federer was ooutrageously dominant, meaning not...

Re: 33 years old Federer so far > 6 finals out of 10 tournaments played, won 4 [more]

And yet he gets routined by redlining opponents, suggesting he doesn't have the keys of the matches in his hands.

He got absolutely humiliated in MANY occasions by no-names.
If you want to win...

Staggering to see after all these years, some tards are willing to embarass themselves with such stupid arguments... Staggering but also a bit sad

Re: French players Ouanna, Burquier, Obry call it a career

Ouanna was one hell of a ballbasher... Legendary matches against Safin at RG 2009 (which I saw live), and against Gonzalez at USO 2009. True ballbasher heaven.

He came so out of the radar I actually...

Re: Is Murray now entering the peak of his career?

But you don't get that having 6000 points to defend, or 1000, doesn't mean shit!
It's about who gets the better results! And the fact Djokovic got so many points to defend is a sign that he is more...

Re: What Is More Prestigious - Murray's 4 Queens Or Fed's 8 Halle Titles?

I wouldn't mix histotic prestige of a tournament, and the presitge of a particular win at a tournament.

Queens might be historically more prestigious than Shangaï, doesn't mean winning it is more...

Re: Is Murray now entering the peak of his career?

That's flawed reasoning. What tells you that Djokovic won't defend his points, or that Murray will have a worse first half of the year in 2016?

Djokovic has a huge advance on Murray in the points,...

Re: What Is More Prestigious - Murray's 4 Queens Or Fed's 8 Halle Titles?

The prestige comes from the competition. Which is about eqaul in these tournaments.

8 Halle = 8 Queens > 4 Queens

Sorry Brittards, try harder next time.
