Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 26

Who's the douchebro in the pinkish shirt in Murray's box?

Anderson is not the player with the most flair and he's pretty robotic but the dude has a solid game off the ground

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 26

And he's whining so much about getting them wrong...is he blaming his box?

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 26

From experience attending the Open the crowd just wants the match to keep going, especially at Armstrong and Grandstand...although I'm sure he has plenty of fans out there.

I can't see how people...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 26

Eh...New York crowds just want to see the most tennis possible.

Anderson needs to remember he is still winning this match. He really gifted this set.

Re: Christos Kyrgios: Donna obviously loved the "kokk"

No you goofball... My point was that if there was really any actual physical attack they should have pressed changes... Pretty sure they're just full of crap and at most it was a couple of shoves

Re: Christos Kyrgios: Donna obviously loved the "kokk"

Ha! She would have laughed his sorry ass out the court.

If Wawrinka really did put his hands on Nick (and Wawrinka has a pretty hot temper) they should have totally pressed charges.

Does he...

Re: Kyrgios Has No Class

Ugh...this guy frustrates me.

There is such a thing as going too far and this whole exchange was pretty bush league amateur bullsh1t

His mum may just be sticking up for her kid or she may just...

Re: Wilander: 'Kyrgios might be the greatest player of all time once his career is ov

No, what the greats do is figure out ways to win matches and this was a very winnable match for Kyrgios.

McEnroe would go into his rants but it actually helped his tennis. So far Kyrgios' antics...

Re: Kyrgios Has No Class

WTF was that about? Why did he just tank that game? Was he mad at the umpire?

Obviously the dude hass talent and I think it's great for him to do a bit of showboating and pump up the crowd,...

Re: I want to hug Djokovic...I hope he wins a French Open.

I personally dislike Djokovic but this is a very puzzling record for him. Should have been in double digits by now.

I wonder what this loss will do to his psyche?

Re: This is why Djokovic should never ever be compared to Federer and Nadal

Nadal did lose to Wawrinka in his prime in a Slam final.

But I get the OP's point. Djokovic really should have more Slams than what he does now. For some reason he s***s the bed at the worst...

Re: Djokovic had to do the dirty work

We CAN say that. But it would be a lie.

Nadal is a shell of himself so, I don't think he was very dangerous at all. Murray had the best clay season of his career but Djokovic had him on the...

Re: RG Final: [8] Stan Wawrinka def. [1] Novak Djokovic 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4

Wow...what a final. What a tournament, really, for Wawrinka.

Will Djokovic ever win this? He really should have managed to win one of the 3 finals he contested last year. He just looked spooked....

Re: RG QF: [8] Stan Wawrinka def. [2] Roger Federer 6-4 6-3 7-6(4)

Pretty embarrassing that the French crowd could only manage some weak applause plus some booing for the great tennis that Wawrinka displayed. Bunch of front-runners

Re: RG QF: [8] Stan Wawrinka def. [2] Roger Federer 6-4 6-3 7-6(4)

Pity Federer. A tragedy that the multi-millionaire 17-time Slam winner can't win another one. Really one of the saddest things in sports.

Wawrinka just kicked Federer's butt. Impressive...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 14

This guy is really wild.

Now jawing at the umpire.

I guess he's still a 20 year old.

Re: Australian Open F: (1) Novak Djokovic vs (6) Andy Murray

I didn't necessarily care about who the eventual winner was...I was just hoping this wasn't the final as their matches just tend to drag.

I think Murray is objectively playing better tennis so...

Re: Australian Open R4: Kyrgios def. Seppi 5-7 4-6 6-3 7-6(5) 8-6, saves MP

Never be as bad as the French Open crowds

Great for Kyrgios and Australia. Yes, he's kind of a punk but as long as it doesn't interfere with his results, so what?

Re: Who was Wawrinka angry at in the crowd?

Yup, Wawrinka has a temper and frustration must have gotten the best of it.

That said as a former pro she should know better.

The tacky outfits can be forgiven but not bad tennis etiquette.
