Re: Federer's Greatest Match

He should have withdrawn but he did give it his all for the fans, unlike Nadull who didn't even bother showing up to Wimbledon 09 with a fake injury (and a real injury to his ego :wavey:)

Re: Federer's Greatest Match

Fed was far from his best against Safin, and let's not talk about him blowing the match with a tweener :o Against Nalbandian, he had an injury (a real one in the days before Nadull and Fakervic) and...

Re: Federer 2006 v Djokovic 2011

:worship:

That was an oscar worthy performance from Fakervic. He watched the ball go out and then fell on the ground as if he was in pain. Went a little over the top with the screaming and crying...

Re: How High Will Janko Tipsarevic elevate?

When Nadull does well the other Spaniards are allowed to win, but when he loses they have to tank to him so he gets confidence back. Seems to be the same with Fakervic and the serbians, as long as...

Re: Moscow F: Tipsarevic def. Troicki 6-4 6-2

I don't like Tipsarevic anymore because he bends over for Fakervic but his comments on equal prize money and the women's "tennis" association are the best thing he's done. Also I know this board is...

Re: Stockholm F: Monfils d. Nieminen, 75 36 62

Mugfils peaking again when no one else cares so that he remains in the top 10 for another year to continue the travesty that is the 6-10 rankings :o

Re: Djokovic vs Agassi: who would win if they played at their peaks? and who is great

That's like saying some kid who dominates his high school tennis league is more talented compared to Agassi because he always wins 6-0 6-0. WTA is not a sport, just being able to hold a racket is...

Re: Pan American Games Gold medal match- Farah d. Dutra 6-4 6-3

Wow Farah won the gold medal :worship: This is a huge accomplishment in tennis, next to only the slams. He joins Nadull along the all time greats who've won gold medals, which every one knows is very...

Re: Djokovic vs Agassi: who would win if they played at their peaks? and who is great

Sad that Agassi sold his soul to the ATP for a hit of that crackpipe :o HE's the better player and he knows it, it's not even close. Agassi's return of serve was based on pure talent and reaction...

Re: Curious case of draws at the ITF Grand Slam tournaments (2008-2011)

Interesting point. If Fakervic doesn't win at the AO, which seems very likely since he is very bad at defending titles, there's an excellent chance he won't win a slam all year. In that case we could...

Re: Moscow SF: Tipsarevic def. Davydenko 6-2 7-5

2011 has been very kind to every mediocre player who's managed to stick around in the weakened field. The Serbians especially have followed in Fakervic's wake, I guess the Serbian mafia has been more...

Re: How come Great Britain and Australia can't produce players like France, Spain,?

Not all countries have the same regulations for testing and accountability. When tennis was a sport of talent and aggression rich countries did well because extraordinary players could excel. When...

Re: Rafa, Nole, Fed discuss why they love playing tennis

All that needs to be said. Fair play, caring about the fans, caring about the game, caring about the opponent all die with Federer's retirement, and the age of doing ANYTHING to win begins

Re: Moscow R2: Chardy def Dolgopolov 6-3, 7-6

The only disease Mugopolov has is a poorly functioning brain, and I'm not sure if you can cure that :o Not like he was going to win here anyway, this is Moscow and there's money to be made.

Re: Pete Sampras: Djokovic’s season best I’ve seen in my lifetime

Perhaps. For his sake I hope the effects of the pod egg don't decrease with time, he might end up as some kind of mutant :p

Re: Hottest woman's tennis player

WTA is unwatchable even with the sound off, I'd rather just watch porn. Kirilenko's hot as is Sharapova but it's really not worth it, I'd rather watch a Fakervic-Nadull match :tape:

Re: Pete Sampras: Djokovic’s season best I’ve seen in my lifetime

Really pathetic all these former champions who gambled away all their money and so are dogs for the ATP praising everyone who comes around as the next GOAT and so much better than they ever were. How...

Re: Pete Sampras: Djokovic’s season best I’ve seen in my lifetime

Maybe his natural game and natural body are not built for longevity, but with "enhanced" Faker who knows how long he can play at a high level

Re: What tactics does/should Nadal employ against Djokovic, esp. Djokovic v.2.0?

Have Uncle tony make him disappear  Within the game of tennis he has no chance.

Re: Del Potro Poor Man's Soderling?

Del Potro does have serious problems with his serve which breaks down when he's low on confidence, when your serve is supposed to be the last thing that breaks down in your game. Soderling has a huge...

Re: Curious case of draws at the ITF Grand Slam tournaments (2008-2011)

Even if we didn't have overwhelming statistical evidence that the draws are fixed, which we do, the fact that there is so much money in tennis, so little oversight, and so much incentive to fix draws...

Re: U.S. Open could make Monday finish permanent

Doesn't really matter what the USTA wants as long as they still don't have a roof, it's not like they've chosen a monday final the last 4 years anyway.

Re: Peakerer's close calls

very smart subtle attack on Fed :yeah: Why don't you go into the close matches he lost, especially in 2005 when 2/4 losses were in some of the greatest matches of all time and 1/4 was in a final set...

Re: Pan Am Games: Marcelo Arevalo def. Eduardo Schwank 6-4 6-1

Remember when Schwank was the #2 junior and was supposed to be a great player in the future :haha: Another clown who has wasted his life in an ATP tour full of them :o
