Re: Who is greater, Michael Jordan or Lionel Messi?

Of course Jordan is better.
This is like comparing a checkers player to a chess player. :wavey:
Basketball is much more complex, the athletes in basketball make the footballers look like kids. LOL

Re: Ivan Ljubicic: "Milos is by far the most determined person I have ever met"

Roanic has improved quite a bit since about a year ago.
He can get his footwork more coordinated, pick up some speed on movement with some work in that area.
Learn when to come in to the net better...

Re: Federer AO 2007 vs Djokovic AO 2011

Fed takes this one.

People forget how well Fed played in those days.

Re: Del Potro USO-2009 vs Nadal USO-2010

DelPo in 3.
No matter what form Nadal was in he couldn't handle the pace.

At that time DelPo's endurance was top level BTW.

Re: Does Grigor Dimitrov need to split with coach Roger Rasheed?

Dimitrov's problem is from within probably.
Playing around with coaches is risky, no one can predict the chemistry beforehand.

Dimi's been on cruise control for awhile, maybe hit his peak even but...

Re: Rafa is done- Sad times?

He'll bring his level up again.

The fog beat him and didn't play that well either so Nadal has a ways to go.

Re: Curiosity about Raonic TB record

Roanic has picked up his overall game in the last year so his numbers should get better.
The numbers shown may not reflect his current status.

Of course if his game has improved but not the...

Re: Nadal surprised at Brazil hardcourt choice for 2016 Olympics

I'm somewhat surprised too.
Just figured it would be on clay.

Anyways, whether Nadal said it or not everyone knows he'd like it on his best surface, who wouldn't?

What other news is there?

Re: Is Del Potro Any Better Than Cilic?

He was close, just a little short on endurance which he improved on as the year went on.

Fed closed him out at RG, Delpo returned the favor at the USO.

He beat Nadal and Fed that year 5 times...

Re: The real reason Men's Tennis Forum in general dislike Grigor Dimitrov

He's had some good games but doesn't impress much even in those.

A guy like Davydenko, watch some of his best games, that's talent.

Re: The real reason Men's Tennis Forum in general dislike Grigor Dimitrov

Of course you don't want any opinions you don't like.

What other slam winners does Dimitrov have more talent than?
Certainly Cilic isn't the least talented slam winner.

Re: The real reason Men's Tennis Forum in general dislike Grigor Dimitrov

I don't dislike Dimi but the unwarranted hype for no reason.

He has a nice game but may very well retire with no slams.

Cilic had his day in the sun and won a slam, Nishikori made the final of a...

Re: Murray opens up about team split - hints Dani/Jez against Mauresmo role

yeah, chemistry of the team counts and is what's needed.

Murray needs to focus on tennis, doesn't need to be thinking about team politics.

Re: The Scariest In Form Player on the Other Side of the Net? [Multiple Poll]

Can't really pick between Nadal, Fed or Djokovic.
All three had stretches of great tennis, so glad to have seen them in that kind of form.

Davydenko has to be there, absolutely some of the best...

Re: Sydney R1: Janowicz def. Kyrgios 6-1 6-7(6) 7-6(5)

Hopefully Janowicz will pull it together this year.

Not much talk about him but he is massively talented, I'm waiting and hoping he goes in the right direction.

Re: Federer's last chance to win a slam at either AO or USO this year

Fed's level was going up all last year.
Going by that he should have better chances this year than last.

One thing for certain, he'll be ready for any opportunities that show up.

Re: Bernard Tomic "Flash Cars and Girls are in the Past"

Maybe it won't help him much, it did help Gulbis a bit.

He has potential to be better than he is, by how much remains to be seen.

If he turns himself around and does his best, that'll be good...
