Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

He played his doubles afterwards, and retired due to a blister, so it doesn't look like he's done himself any damage. Probably just precautionary. Still, I wonder if he'll ever have enough faith in...

Re: Australia F3 [3 March/Mildura/Grass] Winner: Luke Saville

I think the main reason that Saville struggled in transitioning from juniors to seniors was his ability to hit winners consistently. I haven't seen him play since his match against Capdeville at AO...

Re: It's nice to have you Carsten.

Bit of contention in this match. At 3-3 in the last set Ball was 15-30 on serve, when the umpire half called out one of Johnson's shots. The umpire actually called "OU-" and then stopped very...

Re: The Everything Davis Cup Thread (News, Articles, Live Scores)

Guccione has never lost a doubles match at David Cup level, so I cant see how picking him means Australia don't want to get back into the world group.

Re: Bordeaux CH R2 : Matosevic def. Serra 6-0 6-1

#35 Bogomolov, #41 Karlovic and #54 Kukushkin don't count as being higher than Sela?

Re: James Duckworth Cheering Thread

They actually put down "No Show" as his reason for withdrawing, normally they list the injury when a player pulls out.

Re: Aussies in Challengers and Futures

He and Peers gave a walkover in the doubles, so maybe he was struggling with another injury?

Re: Jason Kubler Cheering Thread

Yeah he withdrew from those, and the ones on the following week, and the week after. Not sure if he has an injury, or if he's planning on playing challenger qualifying, or something, for those weeks.

Re: AO R4: Berdych beats mental giant Almagro 4-6, 7-6, 7-6, 7-6

Berdych needs to drink some cement, the ball didn't even hit him in the face, it hit him in the arm. If Berdych is so afraid of getting hit by the ball he should stay out of the net.

Re: AO R3: B-Nard Tomic def. Dolgopolov 4-6, 7-6, 7-6, 2-6, 6-3

He's won a set off Fed before........ So I hardly imagine its impossible for him to do it again

Re: Ben Mitchell's Banana Party

Nice win by Ben over Leo Mayer 6-4 6-3 in the first round of Sydney Qualifying.
First top 100 win I think?

Plays the winner of Matosevic - Kukushkin next.

Re: The Bernard Tomic Cheering Thread!

Players can use their singles ranking for entry into doubles, they made that change a couple of years ago. I think they were trying to encourage more of the top player to play doubles.
