Re: Frank Dancevic

And yet he didn't play doubles in Granby this week.

And once again he loses in the first round.

Re: Phil Bester

I think he should be playing Futures to build his confidence up, get more matches played and maybe earn a few points.

Re: Peter Polansky

Must be injured, he's not playing Australian Open, so the only Canadian in qualies will be Dancevic.

Re: Peter Polansky

With such an epic choke, I almost feel like he doesn't even deserve the LL.

Re: Toronto Entry List (updated June 25, 2014)

Canada's Frank Dancevic isn't on the qualies entry list, so he must have a MD WC.

Re: Frank Dancevic

So since Frank has decided to play World Team Tennis for the whole month of July, he won't be able to defend his 90 points from winning Granby last year and his ranking will plummet to around 125...

He also gets paid when he wins matches in ATP.

Re: Frank Dancevic

According to Open Court, Frank is taking July off to play World Team Tennis. Not sure that's the best decision given he is on the brink of making the Top 100.

Re: Frank Dancevic

Great news for Frank. Does anyone know if Frank loses his qualies point or does he only lose them if he wins the first round in the main draw?

Re: Frank Dancevic

Del Potro withdrew before two other two I believe withdrew after the draw. Here's hoping a Frank makes it as a LL!

Re: Filip Peliwo

Not sure which list you can see, but the one I can he never entered in the first place. Technically he entered as an ALT for the main draw but is about 150 spots out LOL

Re: Filip Peliwo

So as we know, despite having a high enough ranking, Peliwo chose not to play French Open qualies. Well, he also chose not to play Wimbledon qualies too. Interesting strategy.

Re: Frank Dancevic

So Frank loses in final round of RG qualies. Is there any chance of a LL spot for him?

Re: Filip Peliwo

That's why I wrote officially, you said your comment before the entry list was released so it was only hearsay.

Re: Filip Peliwo

Although he would have made the cut, Peliwo officially didn't enter French Open qualies.

Re: Filip Peliwo

I just checked the latest entry list for Sarasota and Filip has not withdrawn yet. That being said, Jesse Levine just withdrew.

Re: Filip Peliwo

With his win today, his ranking should be approximately 227. This now places Filip into French Open and Wimbledon qualies contention (the last two years' cut off was 245 or so).

Frank and Peter both withdrew from Acapulco (ATP) qualifying list (both were in the Q draw list).

Re: Canadian Players 2

Can you believe Raonic, Posposil, Polansky, Dancevic, Levine, Peliwo, Bester are all injured at the same time?
