Re: Acapulco QF: [Q] Harrison def. [6] Karlovic 4-6 7-6 (0) 7-6 (4)

Wow, that is really refreshing. Harrison with two big wins in a row...
after everybody gave him up, maybe even he himself.

Re: AO QF: Wawrinka def. Nishikori 6-3 6-4 7-6(6)

The biggest x-factor in Stans game is still the mental aspect.
His level of play is brilliant but can he close out any really close match?
I hope so but I am not sure.

Re: AO 2015 QF: (7) T. Berdych def. (3) R. Nadal 6-2 6-0 7-6(5)

This is just a personal life achievement for Berdych.

And for many tennis fans a little bit as well.
17-0 was just not reflecting the reality.

Re: Australian Open R4: Kyrgios def. Seppi 5-7 4-6 6-3 7-6(5) 8-6, saves MP

I don't like him, but this was something. Some brilliant shots. Brave tennis. Interesting match, turnaround and intesity.
He was mentally strong, really strong. And that was impressive. If you like...

Re: AO R3 : Seppi def. Federer 6-4 7-6(5) 4-6 7-6(5)

It is a huge surprise. Like Smyczek d. Nadal would have been. Like Panova d. Sharapova would have been.
And as many posters mentioned you really think that this is one of those matches where Seppi...

Re: Australian Open R2: B. Tomic def. [22]P. Kohlschreiber 6-7(5) 6-4 7-6(8) 7-6(5)

Kohlschreiber is not to believe.

Had 76 31 and played good to this point. He must win a match like these with a lead like these...
It's just always the same with him...

Re: Australian Open R2: Philipp Kohlschreiber (22) vs Bernard Tomic

We had that match one week ago and Tomic won surprisingly easy.

I hope Kohli can win this time in 4 tight sets.

Re: Australian Open R1: [WC] Kokkinakis def. [11] Gulbis 5-7 6-0 1-6 7-6(2) 8-6

Gulbis was really bad both mentally and gamewise.
The level of play was not very high throughout.
Gulbis is not ready at all, he had so many match points but the intensity flopped away with set 4...

Re: FITD 2015 Manager Thread | Who wants to manage Australian Open???

Re: FITD 2015 Manager Thread | Who wants to manage Australian Open???

Sounds good. I am curios.
The best thing would be something like "the better you are the more points you get" with the whole spectrum from 0 to 2000 at a Grand Slam. And not from 1000 to 2000, this...
