Re: Geneva R2: [1] Wawrinka def. Rosol 6-4, 3-6, 6-3

They wouldn't make him play on Sunday if he's still in Geneva on Saturday. 1st round play is spread over three days at RG.

Re: Which is the weaker era - 2004-2007 or present one?

Re: Which is the weaker era - 2004-2007 or present one?

Murray really isn't playing great. He's had one good tournament this year; he was at the right place at the right time in Melbourne. Federer is not playing great for his standards. And Berdych has...

Re: Which is the weaker era - 2004-2007 or present one?

Federer is almost 34 years old, not even half the player he was a decade ago (FH weaker, BH shaky as hell, and lets not even get into his movement). He's basically a servebot pusher these days and is...

Re: Which is the weaker era - 2004-2007 or present one?

and who is Novak's main competition, now? Berdych? Federer? Murray? The latter two are well past their best and the former is useless.

Re: Which is the weaker era - 2004-2007 or present one?

The reason there was alleged less depth back then was because Federer was so dominant. Paper facts only mean so much.

Re: MTF is losing it.

Exposed as a troll? How so?

Also, Federer fan boy?

My post in the Dislike Thread on MTF:

You don't need to be a fan of a player to talk about them objectively, which you seem incapable...

Re: MTF is losing it.

Should they be at their absolute best (not during their best years but actually playing their best in a specific match), Federer beats Djokovic on every surface. Nadal beats Djokovic on clay and...

Re: MTF is losing it.

What about a 30+ old Federer beating a Prime Djokovic on multiple occasions? tennis form doesn't exist in a vacuum my friend.

Re: Who has a better peak. Del Potro vs. Wawrinka?

what do players records against others have to do with who has the better peak? Even the greatest players have fluctuations in form and they're not the same player in every match. Not to...

Re: How badly would Federer have beaten Nadal today?

today's match had more to do with Wawrinka than anything Federer did. This fanbase has been owned far too many times regarding this matchup to be getting cocky over.

Re: Why Berdych forgot how to play against Murray and Fed ?

He plays higher % tennis these days. Someone with his movement can't afford to defend and hence the more he tries to rally the more he'll get burned by the top guys who move better and have more...

Re: Nadal throws side shade to Coric?

Yes I'm sure Nadal is losing sleep over a loss in Basel as opposed to Wimbledon where Kyrgios beat him

Re: God mode Stan or God mode Stronga?

Tsonga is a hot and cold player too. Even with the injury an opponent would have a lot of nerves closing it out. We can't just assume that anyone would have beaten Nadal in that final, he still had...

Re: God mode Stan or God mode Stronga?

Yes, I don't think Novak was at his peak but he had to play very well to win it. He also said it was one of the best and most exciting matches he's ever played in too though ;)
