Re: Can a player have a better backhand than forehand?

Haven't you watched them?

Running around FH or BH is not something any serious player would do on a consistent basis if you ask me. It takes time that you usually do not have and even when you do,...

Re: Can a player have a better backhand than forehand?

Nalbandian, Safin and Gasquet all attack(ed) better with the BH. Of those, the first two had a very solid FH too, it's just that they could do pretty much anything with the BH. Anyone who has seen...

Re: Should Grand Slam award more points?

A Nadal fan of all people whining about the length of the match? He could play one set for five hours, what with the endless rallies, what with time wasting. Sticking to WTA is good advice if you...

Re: Should Grand Slam award more points?

There's no such thing as a fluke slam winner. You don't fluke one Bo5 match, let alone 7.

Re: WWW ? Monte Carlo SF: (6)Tomas Berdych Vs. (14)Gael Monfils

There were quite a few of those a couple of years back, many featuring Gasquet, usually losing a five-setter :sobbing: Against Murray, Youzhny and Haas were R1 I believe, also the Nalbandian-Hewitt...

Re: Will Novak win all Grand Slams and Masters 1000 in 2015?

Chico is never a happy man. If it's all Djokohype, it's jinxing. If it isn't, it's disrespect.

Personally, I believe they should force Djokovic to S/V the rest of the season so that the rest of the...

Re: The better volleyer: Nole or Rafa?

It's like asking who has a better serve, Volandri or Cipolla.

Re: Koenig: "Nadal doesn't get credit for his volleys"

Why would he? They are pedestrian.

Re: S.Q.T. (stupid question thread)

Not an expert, but I believe there's ways to tell whose pee it is, DNA and such. More of an issue would be giving your own from some previous time. Perhaps they need to go to a private restroom just...

Re: H2H : The pigeons a minimum of 5 matches with +4 difference (It's not changing)

For a pigeon, Isner has extremely competitive matches with Nadal, especially given that 3 of those 5 were on clay. Could pull it off the next time and de-pigeon himself IMO.

Re: WWW Monte Carlo QF: Djokovic v. Cilic

Slow MC clay is def not the best place for Marin to get his first win in this matchup. Good tournament for him, nevertheless.

Re: Monte Carlo [R3]: Berdych def. Bautista Agut 7-6(7) 6-4

Berdych has become so consistent it's difficult to believe he's the same player as Berdych 5+ years ago :worship:

Re: Funny Fotos #8

Because he's almost among the spectators to be able to return Isner's serve? He'd probably need to climb up there if it's a 2nd serve kicker.

Re: WWW MC R3: Cilic def Tsonga 6:3 7:6

He was always terrible at IW/Miami duo, not just after a long layoff. Clay is actually better for him, even slow MC clay.

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Monfils def. Federer 6-4 7-6(5)

Not only would it fail to prove anything except the fact that he's intent on winning those masters, but most complete  Of all time no less? Seriously? He can't smash, he can't...

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Monfils def. Federer 6-4 7-6(5)

Which part of he usually plays well against Fed escaped you? He doesn't need to Djokovic-consistent day in day out not to be a fluke. Otherwise, every Federer victory over anyone is a fluke in the...

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Monfils def. Federer 6-4 7-6(5)

So there's flukes and consistent beating and nothing in between?

Monfils has always played well against Fed, win or lose, if he was in reasonable form, he always put up a fight at least. Not to...

Re: Monte Carlo R3: Monfils def. Federer 6-4 7-6(5)

I'm curious, how many times does someone need to beat Fed for it not to be a fluke in your book? Second question, does it make you feel any better if you call it a fluke and if so, why? Just natural...
