Re: Nadal and Federer era is over, says Tsonga

Tsonga, of all people, proclaims this.

Re: One of them MUST win a Grand Slam

I chose Ferrer. He's the toughest mentally, and also I think the most opportunistic when a draw opens up.

Re: Will Murray Ever Win A Set In A Grand Slam Final?

It always amazes me that people have such faith in Murray, even still. After seeing his weak showings against Fed in Grand Slams past, I pretty much lost faith. This just confirms it.

More power...

Re: For the time being, the debate is over: Djokovic > Murray

This is why he said 'for the time being'!

Re: Nadal physically drained, didn't recover from that virus yet

I hope he feels better soon. The way he looked last night reminded me of Fed a couple of years ago here in his match versus Djokovic: sweaty and lethargic.

Re: best match celebration ever (well, after the oscar hernández one, that is)

Don't forget Fed and Wawa's homoerotic Olympic air massage!

Re: Jim Courier: the AO balls are "a little bit bigger, heavier and slower this year"

Don't forget the "magic towels" Nadal has been wiping off with. True Mallorcan voodoo. Or the reserved sidewalk space so that no one gets close enough to bruise him. Insane the lengths his...

Re: AO R3: Federer beats Malisse 6-3 6-3 6-1

On the Roof? I'm lame, I know (still kinda hoping someone photoshops that image...)

Re: Australian Open, it's place in Tennis: A discussion

I think it's the least historically significant of the four. And it's pretty much irrelevant as a predictor of a certain player's performance during the rest of the year. But I'll be damned if it...

Re: AO R2: R.Nadal d. Sweeting 62 61 61

Because that would be no fun. Half the fun is listening to the haters whine.

Re: No respect for FED achievment

I agree with you for the most part, but I think you severely underrate the uniqueness of Rafa's game (and how easy you say it is to duplicate it). His game is not JUST retrieving (that's Hewitt)....

Re: Rivalry with Nadal has forged stronger friendship, says Federer

I'm glad that the two genuinely get along now. I think of that video from last summer when they were giggling together and generally in hysterics while trying to film a promo. They've come a long...

Re: Andy Murray Vs. Novak Djokovic: The (Not Quite) Great Debate

That's a really outstanding writeup. Pretty much captures how I feel about Nole and Andy.

Re: Who has the worst forehand in the top 20?

I would say Tsonga, though I'm not sure if he's the absolute worst. His is just not versatile at all. It's all flat all the time. When he loses his timing, it's really not pretty. Starts slapping at...

Re: "I just had sex" ft. John McEnroe

I agree. Feels like a rehash of their other stuff. The lyrics aren't even that witty.

No Mecir? His graceful movement was an art form in itself.

Re: Who has most effective dropshots?

I originally voted Djokovic, but upon further consideration, I'd say Fed, with Djokovic and Murray tied behind him.

Re: WTF Final: Federer def. Nadal 6-3 3-6 6-1

Congrats, Fed! From what I've seen of the match it looked like Nadal's backhand wasn't really clicking as well as it can (story of this year with him, imo) and Federer's really was.

Re: The Very Best Forehand In the Game Today : Lets Settle This

For years, I would have answered Fed's to this question but it's been far too inconsistent this year to call it the best on tour. I'll go with Nadal's, with Djoko's a close second (it's one of my...

Re: Who Has The Better Forehand? Murray or Djokovic?

Djokovic easily. But both guys forget at times to be aggressive off that side.
