Re: Federer's backhand flicks...

Appropriately, Dimitrov does.

Ironically, I'm pretty sure he hit one against Federer himself at this year's Australian Open encounter.

Edit:

Re: Zverev calls Manuel Messina a "f**king moron"

I like Zverev, but this was poor from him. As a fan of certain other players, I'm the last person that can judge someone for on-court conduct such as this, so that's all I'll say.

I can appreciate...

Re: Today's game is much faster and more powerful?

Fixed. It's well known that the dynamic cam more accurately depicts the trajectory and pace at which the ball is struck.

Looks the same (if not more "intense") in these videos, which frequently...

Re: Djokovic doesn't have a bad matchup against anyone.

Not sure why guys like Federer or Nadal are being mentioned.

Roger maybe recently plays a style of tennis that can bother Novak because his quick tempo doesn't always allow Djokovic to settle...

Re: New tournament in 2017: The Laver Cup (Europe vs Rest of the World)

Del Po to come back and SLAY as an ROW.

This whole competition is just a forum for his return.

Re: AO SF: [1]Djokovic def. [3]Federer 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3

Federer made this match more competitive than it had any business being.

Djokovic came out the gates absolutely on fire, in my opinion. I don't remember him making a loose mistake until around...

Re: How To Beat Novak Djokovic

Bad news guys, Djokovic read this thread and has now completely adjusted his game. You're going to have to come up with an entirely new strategy.

Re: AO SF: [2] Andy Murray Vs [13] Milos Raonic

Were you not defending Ferrer in his loss to Murray yesterday? Is Ferrer trash or nah? You can't have it both ways.

Re: Milos Raonic will be the next world number #1 and will win a lot of slams

In this distorted reality, are you shutting down the development of the '96-on generation of players or where are they?

Re: AO SF: [2] Andy Murray Vs [13] Milos Raonic

Murray in 4.

Raonic is serving lights out, but I'll pick Murray to be able to make some solid plays on the return. I expect Milos will respect the Murray return and refrain from the s&v he's done...

Re: AO QF: [2] Andy Murray Def. [8]David Ferrer 6-3/6-7[5]/6-2/6-3

That's right. Of course. Andy would probably still be on a press tour had he went 2/2 in Gold.

Re: AO QF: [2] Andy Murray Def. [8]David Ferrer 6-3/6-7[5]/6-2/6-3

You can't talk about Ferrer squandering points and overlook the blunders Andy repeatedly made on BP chances and other opportunities to run away with it.

In general, it seems like Andy always does...

AO QF: Andy Murray Def. David Ferrer 6-3, 6-7, 6-2, 6-3

Did it a bit more comfortably than I thought he would.

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 2

But it's not even the aesthetic gripe that most people have with it. It's these 20-30 ball rallies Murray submits himself to every few points that's infuriating. I blame Andy. Of the two, he should...

Re: Australian Open [QF]: Djokovic def. Nishikori 6-3 6-2 6-4

Nishikori made so many loose errors until that third set, and even then some. This just reinforces my beliefs. You have to go into a Djokovic match expecting a grind. If you are not at least prepared...

Re: WWW AO QF [8]David Ferrer vs [2]Andy Murray

Murray can play some of his worst tennis in this match and still come through it. That is the way it goes against Dave. He only needs to grind out a big point or two and he virtually bags the match....

Re: Was Hewitt's AO 2005 run the most memorable GS run for a slam finalist?

While at the time I was seething after the Roddick loss, it's easily one of my most favorite runs from any player in a Major in retrospect. He beat a who's-who of tennis in 2005 (either players who...
