Re: Week 05: Burnie, Tasmania, Australia [Entry List]

I am fairly sure Reid is playing the US Challengers rather than the two tournaments in Tasmania.

Re: Nick Kyrgios - Yes He Canberra

This will be an unpopular post but I thought the injury/limping came and went depending on who was winning the points. That's not the first time I have thought that with Nick. I'm not saying he...

Re: AO qualifying and MD wildcards

Oh well a few of the guys have proved me wrong today and won their matches. I'm very happy to be wrong on this one.

Re: AO qualifying and MD wildcards

Yeah I am surprised, I would of given one to Whittington instead even though he hasn't had a great year.

To be honest, a few of the guys really shouldn't be in a Grand Slam qualifying field. I...

Re: AO qualifying and MD wildcards

I am a bit surprised by that to be honest. I expected him to be behind a number of others.

Re: Auckland Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated January 2, 2015)

Has a wildcard been given to a local yet? Venus or Statham?

Re: AO qualifying and MD wildcards

Saville has withdrawn from the doubles in Adelaide due to more hamstring issues. He might not play at all in Melbourne.

Re: Sydney Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated December 4, 2014)

Possible, but he could easily pick up a couple of exhibition matches either in Adelaide at the WTC or more likely Kooyong. Even with the loss I'm not sure he would want a possible full week of tennis.

Re: AO qualifying and MD wildcards

Just in terms of the qualifying wildcards, with Harris and Whittington winning through qualifying and a first round in Adelaide in what is a reasnobly good field will they come into calculations?

Re: Week 01: Happy Valley, Australia [Entry List]

Great list. The Australian Summer needs a challenger in that week of summer so hopefully it is successful.

Re: Aussies in Challengers and Futures

Bagdatis is a confirmed starter for the new Happy Valley challenger in South Australia. Its a great boost for a new event.

Re: 2014 December show down

There is no qualifying so the u18 winner is automatic entry but probably one will go to someone else from that field.

Interesting about Ebden and Jones given they were in initial list.

Re: 2014 December show down

I'd be surprised if many of those mentioned actually play. If you look at last year not many players that would make AO qualifying cut actually took part in the wildcard playoff opting for rest or...

It doesn't bother me if an Australian wins it. There are still four spots for Australians.

Has the list for the AO Wildcard Play off been released? It has for the woman but I haven't seen a men's list.

Re: AO qualifying and MD wildcards

I think the winner of the Adelaide Challenger should get a wildcard similar to what they do with Wimbledon and a lead challenger.

Re: ---Chris Guccione Cheering Thread---

I wouldn't think so. His injury means he is virtually finished with Singles. He said if the timing was right and injury allowed he might play singles qualifying but essentially he is a full time...

Re: Aussies in Challengers and Futures

Surely to get the best lineup for the first Future event of the year in South Australia it should of been the week after the Challenger and not a weeks gap between the two events given the venues...
