Re: When you remember Marin Cilic won the US Open...

Serena's face. :worship:

What was Cilic saying?

BTW, last 3 matches of Marin in USO were obscene.

I also wanted Federer to win, but you can't be mad with such power & accuracy.

Re: Rank the last 10 slam winners in terms of talent

Why is everyone ranking Gaudio so low?

I also believe he overachieve with his RG, but in terms of talent he was a really good player to watch (when he didn't melt down...)

Re: Who is the biggest threat to Djokovic at this US Open?

Any big server / hitter with a fantastic day at the office.

It's not logical for him to lose to a robot baseliner like in 2014, although Nishikori had a great match overall.

Re: Were any matches when Federer fans supported Nadal?

Yes.

Against Fernando González, USO 2009.

It was beautiful, as not only Nadal won against Fernando, but later on he was destroyed by Del Potro.

100% win here.

Re: For the long-time tennis watchers: What are your GOAT rankings?

I can't do a proper ranking from 1 to 10.
But I'm doing a ten player selection divided by tier.
Parameter: open era achievements.

Top Tier.
Laver. Borg. Sampras. Federer. Nadal.

Bottom...

Re: Wimbledon SF: Gasquet def. Wawrinka 6-4 4-6 3-6 6-4 11-9

Wawa. :o

That's the result for burning Shireen. :(

Anyway, was a lot better than I expected from him (after winning RG I thought he was going to lose on R1)

Gasquet. :worship:

1 handers pride....

Re: First match that comes to your mind

Federer - Nadal: W 2008.
Federer - Djokovic: RG 2011.
Federer - Murray: AO 2010.
Nadal - Djokovic: AO 2012.

Honestly, no match comes to my mind immediately when I think about Djokovic - Murray or...

Re: Rank the 8 Quarter-finalists in order of preference...

Tier 1: The one-handers.
Federer - Wawrinka - Gasquet

Tier 2: The agressive two-handers.
Pospisil - Cilic.

Tier 3: The "variety" two-handers.
Murray - Djokovic.

Tier 4: God forbid.

Re: Federer has more ATP 250 titles than other Big 4 players

Introducing a question: How many ATP 250 did they played?

Making an example of 2015.

Venues / Titles.

Federer (Brisbane, Istanbul) = 2
Nadal (Doha, Buenos Aires, Stuttgart) = for now 1, still in...

Re: Roger Federer to play Istanbul Cup

Good news! :D

Every year I think about "what kind of schedule" my faves should do.

On clay season, I had Federer playing on Munich (so Istanbul is fine) and on Rome, meaning that he should skip MC...

Re: Australian Open R2: Nadal def. Smyczek 6-2 3-6 6-7(2) 6-3 7-5

From now on, anyone who puts and asterisk when talking about Wawrinka should be banned.

Re: Agassi or McEnroe?

I agree.

Agassi had a better career, but McEnroe's game was just beautiful to watch.

Also, we are counting only Singles. Whole career of singles + doubles would result in a McEnroe victory by a...

Re: The big 3 and their missing prizes

None will reach it, but Djokovic is the one that's gonna get closer (probably winning RG and Cinci, missing OG)

Also, Nadal won Indoor Madrid on 2005 if I'm not wrong (indeed, I think it's his only...

Re: I am doing press for ISR-ARG Davis Cup, any questions you want me to ask?

Advice: if you want any controversial / juicy response, ask them about Del Potro.

Keep in mind also this is the last time Jaite is going to coach the DC team (rumours is that Vilas is a lock to the...
