Re: WWW Cincinnati F [7] Dimitrov v Kyrgios

OP, since this is the first Masters 1000 for each of them, would have been nice to mark the historic poll with their real names. Just a thought :)

Re: Cincinnati SF: [7] Dimitrov def. [14] Isner 7-6(4) 7-6(10)

So what would you suggest? That he take that into consideration and lose the match so no-one will be able to accuse him of winning without facing any top 10 opponent? Just askin'

Re: Cincinnati QF: Kyrgios def. [1] Nadal 6-2 7-5

I remember you protesting bitterly about Stan Wawrinka having to play five Best of 5 matches in 7 days at a rain-affected Wimbledon.... oh wait.....

Re: Scheduling thread

It's like people have their memories scrubbed after each previous rain-affected tournament, so everything has to be explained all over again.

Re: Rafael Nadal "I had more injuries than Djokovic, Murray, Federer combined"

Rafa's win-lost on tour, according to Wiki, is 854 won; 182 lost.

Since he only loses when injured, I assume one must extrapolate from those figures that he was injured 182 times.

QED (or not)!...

Re: Toni Nadal: Federer and Djokovic have been helped by Rafa's injuries

Have you ever considered that Federer's 2008 illness caused him to lose at least as much as Nadal's 2009 injury did?

Look at the before and after picture for the above. Federer's 2008...

Re: Cincinnati withdrawals: Murray, Cilic, Pouille, Nishikori & Federer OUT

No guarantees that it might not have happened during Cincy if he'd skipped Montreal - and with less time for it to heal. Just have to hope for the best, and forget the recriminations :)

 I can only begin to imagine how devastated you feel. The airfare from India alone must be a horrendous outlay :(

Re: Roger's post-match interview (8/11/2017)

anti-tennis? In retrospect some decisions may not appear as good as they did at the time, but I'd hardly describe them as anti-tennis.

IIRC the 2006 Rome Masters drained the two combatants so much...

Re: Roger's post-match interview (8/11/2017)

Re: Montreal SF: Zverev def. Shapovalov 6-4 7-5

I was asking a couple of days ago if the Canadian mountain ranges featured any twin peaks. I truly believe Shapo and FAA will very soon be the Canadian twin peaks of tennis.. and that we're in for...

Re: Montreal SF: Zverev def. Shapovalov 6-4 7-5

Re: Montreal SF: Zverev def. Shapovalov 6-4 7-5
