Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 12

Isner is done with the match, and is making no attempt at hiding it.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 12

That might be the most pathetic attempt at serving out a match I have ever seen.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 12

Rosol should write the forewords on the *next edition of "How to win friends and influence people"

He really is an asshole, and nobody on tour seems to like him.

Re: Geneva R2 : Sousa def Melzer 6-4 6-4

Clearly a double bounce when you watch the replay, but hard to fault Sousa or the umpire here. Melzer had the best view and angle, and got it right.

Pretty funny that he said "If you don't give me...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 12

Whereas he is a mental midget, his level of play surely matters a lot. When Bellucci is out of form and playing bad, he can lose the most random of mugs.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 12

Bellucci playing like he has these last two weeks would give him lots of trouble.

Bellucci of the 50 weeks before that, not so much.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 12

Has Troicki always been grunting like this?

It feels like he has found the only possible way I could dislike him even more.

Re: Rome R2 Bellucci d. Bautista-Agut 16 61 64

The real disaster is the fact that he is top 20.

He usually dismantles lower ranked players, especially those who can't hit through him consisently. When Bellucci brings his a-game, he is top 15 on...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread 2015 vol. 12

He did.

Fognini pulling a Murray!
(Hitting the racquet with his knuckles and bleeding.)

Re: Ridiculous scheduling in Rome: Murray plays the first match on Wednesday

When I read "Ridiculous scheduling in Rome", I was sure you was surprised at Fognini - Dimitrov is set to play on Pietrangeli.

Must be himself who has asked for it, he did look very nervous against...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 11

Verdasco playing a great set out there, and is deservedly serving for it at *65.

Ferrer struggling even worse than lately with his toss.

Re: Madrid R2: Mayer def. [11] Lopez 7-6(3) 7-6(6)

Apart from the serve, Lopez had nothing to threaten Mayer with. Interestingly, his overheads cost him heavily in both tie breaks.

I think Lopez has played very poorly this season, and has gotten a...

Re: Madrid R2: Isner def. Bellucci 7-6(7-5), 6-7(11-13),6-1

Bellucci got to deuce on Isners first service game in the third, god broken, then missed out after going up 30-0* in the second service game of Isner.

After that, I would imagine it's hard to stay...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 11

I really don't think the crowd was unfair until Sock screaming too loud and too often. If you think the average american crowd is any better, we'll just have to disagree.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 11

I am sure he yelled fing joke, but I'm not sure if it was towards him.

Sock surely have asked for the hostility regardless.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 11

Did Sock call Andujar a "fu***** joke" when he missed that volley? He did also scream "Vamos" at a random Andujar miss earlier in the match.

Doesn't seem like these guys are friends...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 11

Copil holds back on a couple forehands, and allows RBA in the point. The rest is NID.
