Re: Rome R2: Fabio "Fogmeister" Fognini bagels Dimitrov 7-6(9) 4-6 6-0

Dimitrov will be 24 years old in three days and he only reached a Slam QF (or more) twice in his career.

He's regressing this year.

Re: Welcome to the top-4, Milos Raonic !!

Bouchard's PR is all over the place. Clueless.

Raonic has one of the best PR in the game. He knows exactly what to say at the right time.
Canadian media still portray him as your average patriotic...

Re: Will Raonic dominate the tour in the near future ?

Milos is in a great position right now.

The "Big Four" will start to retire in the next 2-3 years and he's ahead of anyone else of his age. The level of play will drop and his serve will...

Re: Only 1 Slam Final + 0 titles above 500 for the 89-92 age group

Well, Ferrer is 4-7 against Nishikori but is 4-1 against Dimitrov and 4-0 against Raonic.

Re: Only 1 Slam Final + 0 titles above 500 for the 89-92 age group

Nishikori will begin the 2016 season as 26 years old, Raonic will be 25 y.o. and Dimitrov will be 24 y.o.

If they don't step up soon, they'll be sandwiched between the Big Four and the real (and...

Re: Indian Wells 3R: [6] Raonic def. Dolgopolov 7-6 6-4

The snowbirds really filled up Stadium 2. Nice to see.

Re: Monfils (left knee) & Goffin (rib injury) have withdrawn from the BNPP

Monfils refused to play against Germany to focus on Indian Wells but he was more or less forced to play and look where that all lead him to. :help:

Re: DC 1R: Nishikori beats Raonic 3-6 6-3 6-4 2-6 6-4, CAN 2 JPN 2

Even Tom Tebbutt admits than Vasek and Milos aren't close.

Everyone hyped the Milos-Kei showdown all week long and he lost the match. His personality isn't flamboyant either so the interction was...

Re: Is Davis Cup becoming a farce or not?

Spain isn't playing because they dropped out of the WG which is a farce.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 6

Milos was and is still probably receiving in the hundreds of thousands in financial help as a multimillionaire living in Monaco. He's the one player whom owes the most to his federation.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 6

The only thing that can prevent a Canadian win is possible tiredness from Pospisil but he won't miss his chance to be the man in Vancouver.

7-5 6-3 6-2. Next.

Re: Is Davis Cup becoming a farce or not?

When former champions such as Spain, Czech Republic and Switzerland don't bother anymore, it's very telling. Only three current top 10 players will have a chance to win it this year when the 1R...

Re: No thread? DC 1R: Nishikori beats Raonic 3-6 6-3 6-4 2-6 6-4, CAN 2 JPN 2

Vasek should still win this.
Milos talks a big game yet again only to DF to give the break at 4-4 in the fifth set.

Superb effort by Kei to beat Milos on a Canadian indoors court.

Re: WWW Davis Cup Canada vs. Japan (March 6-8)

Canada will advance if they win the doubles as there's just no way Vasek is losing to the remaining Japanese players.

Re: WWW Davis Cup Canada vs. Japan (March 6-8)

Canada is the favorite to win the Davis Cup this year.
Milos is pretty much the only top player taking it seriously this year and they have two Slam champions on the team.

It should be the same...

Re: Federer trashes Davis Cup: ''It's been a big burden and caused many difficulties'

Spain isn't even in the WG and Federer isn't playing this year. That's what you call a revelant competition.

Aside from France, Canada and the Czech Republic, is there any other country who's...

Re: James Blake: "Out of Raonic, Nishikori & Dimitrov I'd take Dimitrov as next Slam

Against the Big Four :

Dimitrov is 3-18.
Raonic is 4-20.
Nishikori is 5-16.

Nishikori is 25 years old, Raonic is 24 years old and Dimitrov's 24th birthday is in three months.

Re: Rotterdam SF: [4] Wawrinka def. [2] Raonic 7-6(3) 7-6(7)

Milos always talks big but once again, he chokes against a top player. Recuring storyline for the Canadian.

Every year it's a new slogan. "Give myself the opportunity, kick the door down or step...

Re: Davis Cup 2015 World Group Draw

Davis Cup is Raonic's biggest chance at a "big" title and he'll commit 100% this year if he senses that Canada has a real shot (which they do).

Belgium isn't beating them and neither are any other...

Re: Davis Cup 2015 World Group Draw

The Canadian team is the favourite this year. No Spain, now Switzerland and Djokovic won't commit enough ties to be a factor. If they get through Japan, they'll win the whole thing.

Is there anyone with a clear pro potential or will they join Schnurr in the NCAA?

Shapovalov is a leftie with a one-handed backhand and is coached by his mother. That's interesting.

Very weird, indeed.
Smycek probably wouldn't say Nadal is a nice day if he didn't say hello to him.
