Re: 20 July - 26 July - 2015 European Junior Championships Grade B1

Antonopoulos should've played instead of Tsiranidis, we would've done way better in doubles with him :(

Tsitsipas in QF :D

Re: Bogota R1: [Q]Alejandro Gomez (#698) def. [5]Marcos Baghdatis 6-3 0-6 7-6(3)

:hysteric:

You call him a "xenophobe" because he is against the illegal Turkish occupation of his home island of Cyprus, and because he said that Macedonia is Greek (which is true) ???

I can't even...

So much ignorance in this thread

Re: Thanasi Kokkinakis

I'm late on this but it was really funny actually :haha:

I'm not sure if you guys understand all the jokes, but for example last year's April Fools Day joke was that Sharapova was coming to Greece...

I've been having that same feeling for a while now, since he hasn't been seeded in a slam for a while now...

Re: 2015

He lost to a random wildcard in Bogota...:o

However Marcos has gotten his ranking up to 45 so not all hope is lost. Bogota has bad altitude and he played on clay and had just gotten there from Davis...

Re: Alex Jakupovic Fan Club Supporters

He has barely been playing this year but is still ranked 662 in singles and 403 in doubles. He skipped Davis Cup which is unlike him

Re: Stefanos Tsitsipas

He considers grass to be his favorite surface even though he only played on it for the first time last month. So he is still new to grass but I agree and think it suits his game well.

He trains in...

Re: ~Theodoros Angelinos Cheering Thread~

He announced his retirement a few months ago. A shame because he was doing so well and played the qualifying of Wimbledon last June and then played his last tournament four months later. He will be...

Re: greeks or cypriots?

15 yo Alexandros Skorilas (March 2000) won a G4 event in Greece and is now ranked 508 in ITF juniors. 17 yo Christos Antonopoulos (July 1998) is now ranked 279 in ITF juniors. Two good prospects....

I agree. Georgoudas, Kleftakos, Kalovelonis, Gemouchidis, even Giotopoulos, Kapogiannis, Mikos, Glezos...

Very good for him actually! He has not been doing so well lately (skipped Davis Cup to...

Re: Europe Group III in San Marino (July 15-18, 2015)

The original team nominated was Tsitsipas, Theodorou, Mikos and Kapogiannis. Obviously not a great team but all ranked players at least. In the end Mikos and Kapogiannis did not play, I'm not sure...

Re: Greece F3 [6 April/Heraklion/Hard]

Very poor planning. Greece barely has futures and the national championships are always in August/September. Well the idiots who work for the tennis federation decided to make it this year in April...

Re: Greece F1 [23 March/Heraklion/Hard]

Kalovelonis
He said the Greek federation didn't support him and Russia isn't supporting him either. He has to play qualies next week, I'm sure if he stayed Greek he would've gotten a wild...

Re: Junior Predictions

I'm not just saying this because I'm Greek but I like what I see from Tsitsipas and he's only 16 and already 14th in the world. He had some impressive wins at the Orange Bowl and I watched his AO...

Re: Wtaw.

I don't like Gavrilova personally. It was nice seeing her get good results the first few tournaments this year but now that I've seen her play more I don't like her. Her attitude is a turn off and...

The courts they play the Greek futures on are nice though, but not like Melbourne

By the way Stefanos lost in three sets against Manafov
He said on his Facebook page that he didn't...

Re: Diggi Loo Diggi Ley the Eurovision Song Contest is coming oh yay!

Greece had a few really good songs in the national final. But the worst song won. So boring

MBW1jLrPEhA

She's talented but her song is quite dull in my opinion. There were better songs but...
