Re: The most legit non-big4 slam win since 2008: the '09 USO

USO 2009 was more legitimate and impressive than any of Murray's slams too

Re: The hardest fought path to a Slam title(and the easiest path)

Wimbledon 2013: Becker, Lu, Robredo, Youzhny, Verdasco, Janowicz, Slipovic

Remarkable.

Re: Djokovic's Project 18 - how possible is it?

As little competition as he seems to have at the moment, people seem to be underestimating how difficult the task is. He hasn't suffered any major injuries but he is getting to the age where things...

I must have missed when he was not 'done'.

Re: Would have Rafa stopped Novak from winning RG had he not retired?

Probably not. Djokovic has looked more mortal in recent months than the year previous but nothing Nadal has shown makes it a sure thing he would have won over five.

Re: Murray is not unlucky to constantly face one of Djokovic/Federer in GS finals

His first major final was the USO 2007, where he faced prime Federer.

Re: Murray is not unlucky to constantly face one of Djokovic/Federer in GS finals

This is the salient point more so than who he has faced in the finals, I think. He's never been fortuitous in the way that, say, Cilic was (or, indeed, Nishikori) in terms of finals opponents but...

Re: Is Djokovic right now ahead of Nadal in the GOAT debate ?

HC is pretty close, probably a slight edge to Djokovic. But Nadal could certainly still beat him on any given day, I think.

I would also favour Nadal on grass if we take both at their peaks. It's...

Re: Murray's best surface nowadays ??

It's probably still grass. It tends to be dismissed because of how minor the grass swing is in the tennis calendar but I'm not sure getting blown out by Serverer last year should factor in too much....

Re: Is Djokovic right now ahead of Nadal in the GOAT debate ?

It's weird, Djokovic will almost certainly surpass Nadal in most of the counting stats but I'm not sure anyone that saw the two over the arcs of their careers would say Djokovic is truly 'better'.

Question Will Dimitrov ever win another match at RG?

He currently has the quite staggering record of 3-6 on the hallowed dirt of Paris. It'll be tough to failure to win for the rest of his career but I truly believe he has it in him to do so. :worship:...

Re: WWW RG R1: Viktor Troicki vs. Grigor Dimitrov

Re: WWW Rome Final: It's Clayray Vs Djokovic again

Re: Grigor Dimitrov: "I'm a better player than one year ago, my bh is much stronger"

I would comment on how joyous his decline has been but that would imply that he was actually relevant in the past, which is untrue.

A sham of a player: in the past, currently and in the future.
