Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

Is that you praying someone comes and "protects" Fed's records?

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

Well, if he wasn't, then nobody else was either outside Nadal/Federer.

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

In 2009 he played 5 masters finals and one 1, that's way above anyone else outside top 4. 2010 was his really one bad year, and even then he had one SF, one F and was destroying Tsonga at AO before...

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

Before Novak did that, he was #3 for years, regular in slam QF/SFs and masters finals, so his level was already up there. Today's best youngsters are still far from that, Nishikori has one slam and...

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

If he can stay healthy, he will definitely have a shot. For some time now he's trying to be more aggressive, to shorten points and get more free points on his serve. Doesn't always succeed in that,...

Re: Peak Murray vs peak Nadal

Why is clay even an option? Outside clay, peak Nadal 65%, Muzza 35%.

Re: 2015 Indian Wells Final: [1] Djokovic defeats [2] Federer 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-2

Well, that's like saying anyone can win RG 9 times because Nadal did it or anyone can win a CYGS because Laver did it, if one example is all you need.

Re: Ivan Ljubicic says Djokovic and Murrray are boring

Nobody has problem with his right to speak, however Ljubicic himself being not overly exciting, and Raonic probably even less so, it does seem a bit odd. When Nadal famously said that Sampras kind of...

Re: Ivan Ljubicic says Djokovic and Murrray are boring

He's free to like or dislike whatever, however few will say Raonic is exciting, you don't hear that often even from his own fans. :)

Re: 2015 Indian Wells Final: [1] Djokovic defeats [2] Federer 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-2

Safin and who else? He's an exception if anything. Davydenko for example, could barely hold his sponsors even though he was a fixture inside top 10 and even top 5.

Re: What do you think is the key to Dimitrov getting back on track?

Well, using the same logic, Berdych could've reach a whole bunch of finals, and could've won several at least. Plenty of players out there could be filed under "not that far". :)

Re: What do you think is the key to Dimitrov getting back on track?

Both Dimitrov and Kyrgios played their first slam QF last year, and Dimitrov is four years older.

Re: What do you think is the key to Dimitrov getting back on track?

Not sure who are those people, but that's some wild expectation they had. Nothing suggested Dimitrov would be #1 by now.

Re: What do you think is the key to Dimitrov getting back on track?

Well, he was worse in Acapulco, however except that, the rest of his 2015 is almost a mirror image of his 2014 - R16 in Rotterdam, R32 in IW, and the loss to Robredo (19) 4-6, 6-1, 5-7 almost has...

Back on which track? He's ranked few places higher now than a year ago.

Re: 2015 Indian Wells Final: [1] Djokovic defeats [2] Federer 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-2

Don't get your panties in a twist. :) When Nole had 4-2 and BP to go double break, and later when he was up in the TB he should've converted that. Double faulting three times in a row is embarrassing...

One thread was not enough? Try making five or six more, maybe it will make your argument even stronger.
