Re: Back to the Clay...........Cheering for David in Båstad, Stuttgart and Umag

I suppose I could have managed, even with less-than-thrilling tennis.

Re: Welcome to Our Strange and Wonderful World - the Chat Thread for David's Chicas

Ouch! But don't worry, you're not alone in doing this.

My worst experience of this type - my first year playing, there's just really no way to describe how bad I was. But the school didn't have...

Re: Back to the Clay...........Cheering for David in Båstad, Stuttgart and Umag

This was on and I had no idea! This puts me in an even worse mood now.

Very happy for David's win though, I like the trophy, and thought it was just my eyes when I kept thinking it looked like an...

Re: The * Beat 'Em All in Barca, David* Cheering Thread

Loved the 0-an-0 yesterday; a little tougher today against Pashanski, at least in the second set, but still another win.

Re: David Ferrer def Novak Djokovic 7-5 6-4 to make Monte Carlo QF

Congratulations to David, and I'm not completely surprised by the outcome. With all the comments about the level of play, I do wish it had been shown here instead of the Federer-Lee match.

Re: Please win a match after a break Chucho and then hang at the Monte Carlo Casino

They're taking the court now. In my fantasies, there's a huge upset in doubles today.

And serving for the set now.:-)

Vamos David!

I wanted to scream when they went to the Soderling match that had been for an hour.

Awwww, I was hoping for a better view of the shorts - you know, to see if we could figure out the problem today.

Re: Jimmys Bar, royalty, Jardin Exotique, don't play the roulette wheel Monte Carlo Tråd

It doesn't happen over night, and we're talking about a battle that's been going on for a year or so. Even though it wasn't a pretty match, he made far too many mistakes, and Djokovic's game did drop...

Re: Jimmys Bar, royalty, Jardin Exotique, don't play the roulette wheel Monte Carlo Tråd

He's up first tomorrow on the main court, so another early morning for me to watch.

I'm not watching with expectations one way or the other. What I most hope is that, regardless of result, Gaston...

Re: Good Luck to David in Monte Carlo

Nice opening match for David - I feel totally useless from being up so early, but it's worth it. And the commentators spoke pretty highly of him through out the match - on how he never gives up on a...

Re: Please win a match after a break Chucho and then hang at the Monte Carlo Casino

Completely agree here, winning this match wouldn't have surprised me, but the result is really what I expected, and I certainly wasn't looking for him to go past the second round here in any case....

Re: Good Luck to David in Monte Carlo

I know, same here (3 a.m.), and once I'm up, I'm up. It will be a long day, but at this point, the office is use to seeing me come in from these all-nighters. They don't understand, but they're used...

Re: Good Luck to David in Monte Carlo

Thanks for the good news Sue and Elea!

And now, I'm doing a happy dance - David's up first on the main court, which mains an excellent chance of waking up with him.:-)

ORDER OF PLAY 17 APRIL,...

Re: Moose, Reindeer, Luczak wins a title and Felix qualifies for Monza

I didn't know PHM had been sicke - I was also sorry to see him lose - we only had the last few points of the match here. I'm sure Ferrero and Henman are being shown here instead of Gaston's match...

Re: Moose, Reindeer, Luczak wins a title and Felix qualifies for Monza

I was happy to see Marcos on the tv when I got up this morning - unfortunately, Mirnyi is serving for the first set now.

And sorry Mariano didn't win yesterday; I had to record the match but even at...

Re: News and articles about David

I love 24, even if I am a couple of seasons behind thanks to them having big four-hour debuts just as the Australian Open begins; I was excited to read during IW that Chucho is addicted to it, glad...

Re: Moose, Reindeer, Luczak wins a title and Felix qualifies for Monza

Thank, I'll find the links I usually come up with and post them later.

I was happy to see Zabaleta win - well, first to actually see him, as I'd never had the chance to watch him before. He played a...
