Re: Acapulco SF: [2] Ferrer def. [Q] Harrison, 4-6 6-0 6-0

Harrison 0-7 in ATP semi-finals and 0-6 in Grand Slam 2nd rounds. Waiting for that breakthrough.

Re: The Best Player Without An ATP Final?

LOL forgot about Kyrgios.

Following in Lu's footsteps who reached the top 35 before making a tour level semi-final. Both made Grand Slam quarter-finals though.

Re: The Best Player Without An ATP Final?

True. Higher career high than Harrison too.

But only one ATP semi-final. I think he's lost his last seven ATP quarter-finals.

Re: Dubai Q-QF: Fabrice Martin def. [2] Borna Coric 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-6(5)

What's Kohlschreiber got to do with it?

Talk about a very LL. But careers can breakthrough with them. See Goffin and Stakhovsky.

Re: Acapulco R1: Harrison def. Young 4-6, 6-2, 4-2 ret.

I hope it's just fatigue related and he comes back strong soon.

Re: The most beautiful 2-handed BH ever.

I love Jared Donaldson's. Funny back in 2009 I got bad repped for saying Nalbandian backhand was my favourite (and no one else in that thread thought that) and now people talk about it all the time....

Re: Acapulco Q2: Kokkinakis df Falla 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(3)

Good draw. Especially as Ivo might be tired if he makes R2.

Re: Acapulco Q2: Kokkinakis df Falla 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(3)

Awesome! He's playing qualifying in Indian Wells (and I assume Miami) so he's becoming the Thiem of 2015.

Re: Dubai Q-QF: Fabrice Martin def. [2] Borna Coric 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-6(5)

Playing ATP qualifying can be of a similar difficulty to Challengers. Plus, if they make the main draw, they get a crack at more difficult matches. I don't see anything wrong with Coric playing this...

Re: Souza's choke on match point in an endless loop

There have been worse misses.

PWr0-3xNPIw

Just this is worse because it was match point.

Re: Morelos CH R2: [1] Estrella def. Barrientos 6-4 1-6 7-6(3)

Um, this vulturing isn't too bad as this tournament was already on his schedule before he won his ATP250 title.

Re: The long lived myth that Rafael Nadal is or was muscular & anything more than lea

It really depends on your definition of muscular.

Has anyone in the top 100 been muscular under your definition clutch?

I would say that Ginepri, Schuettler and Russell are up there.

Re: S.Q.T. (stupid question thread)

Thanks! So as well as a probable ranking point disadvantage, players risk entry altogether when playing ATP250 qualifying instead of Challengers. No wonder ATP250 qualifying draws are often very...

Re: Sao Paulo SF: (Q) Vanni def. (WC) Souza 6-4 6-7 (5-7) 6-4

I suppose Ball made an ATP final so why not? Especially when you're handed a first round bye and the top seed's draw.

Re: Launceston Challenger Final: Fratangelo def. Chung 4-6 6-2 7-5

Nice effort Chung. Clearly in good shape to play so much and still push Bjorn to the limit.
