Re: 2016 Live commentary thread vol. 8

Nishikori really losing it. Overhitting repeatedly. He has this tendency when nervous. He just misses by so far.

Re: Monte Carlo round 2: Vesely beats Djokovic 6-4 2-6 6-4

Overreacting a bit? Sorry but it's my pet peeve when people write humbleness...the word is humility. Apologies in advance if you are one of those people who gets offended by a gentle vocabulary...

Re: Monte Carlo R2: (14)Roberto Bautista-Agut def. Jeremy Chardy 6-3 5-7 7-5

Chardy is such a drama queen. RBA, keep on beating the Chardys and Tsongas :D

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 6

Horrible tanking from Sock. He is playing like an idiot loser. He has seemingly no strategy other than hitting shots up the middle.

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 6

Love when Jack Sock saunters and struts because I get to see that nice junk-in-the-trunk booty :D

Re: Indian Wells QF: Raonic def. Monfils 7:5 6:3

Good for the game when the better player with a clear strategy and strong offensive skills wins over someone who referred to his own game as "my crazy game of fetch". Bye Clownfils.

Re: Dubai R2: Bautista Agut def. Chung 6-0 6-1

Chung looks so nerdy and his game is boring ballbasher. He is a wannabe Nishikori. Glad RBA gave him a nice Spanish lesson!

Re: Delray Beach F: Querrey def. Ram 6-4 7-6(6)

Why all the hate for Sam Querrey? He seems like a very nice guy to me.

Re: Rio SF: Pablo Cuevas def. (1)Rafael Nadal 6-7(6) 7-6(3) 6-4

It really kind of irks me how these British commentators on tennisTV keep stating that it was a scratchy match. There 80 winners to 69 errors on CLAY! Hitting more winners than errors on clay is...

Re: Buenos Aires SF: Almagro def. Ferrer, 6-4 7-5

Wow... thank you! 2/7 made it to the finals. 0/25 two handers made it. I don't feel the one-hander is completely dead despite tennis "experts" and academies and commentators working very hard to...

Re: Buenos Aires SF: Almagro def. Ferrer, 6-4 7-5

Okay... nobody seems to know how many one-handers were in the field... but we have two in the finals!

Re: Buenos Aires SF: Almagro def. Ferrer, 6-4 7-5

Of the 32 players in the draw, how many of them had a single-handed backhand? Who knows?

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 4

Yes for sure you are right. Domi plays too defensively behind the baseline and then he gets pulled into the net and has to sprint forwards and then cannot get his balance at all on the slippery red...

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 4

Thiem still looking like he is trying low percentage "panic" shots and not willing to rally at all. I don't get it. It's 4 all in the third. That's when you need to give a little more effort even...

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 4

Well.. that net cord would not have been an automatic winner if Thiem were not 10 feet behind the baseline always! The boy has game but he cannot beat the likes of Djokovic, Federer, Murray, Nadal...

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 4

Rafa has really pushed him consistenly WAY BEHIND the baseline. Thiem was able to ballbash his way out of trouble for the first two sets but now he is really really looking very tired to me. He is...

Re: AO 16 R2: Federer def Dolgopolov 6-3 7-5 6-1

Unbelievable serving from Roger. That put tons of pressure on the dog. We all know he cannot serve like Federer.

Re: Does Anyone Agree with Nadal's Assertion that Tennis is Becoming Crazy?

The overall game has changed a bit but MAINLY they are playing him differently. Everyone knows you won't out-rally Nadal with just topspin shots. Guys are stronger, taller and leaning into the ball...

Listening to Brad Gilbert predict for nearly five hours

... How Rafa would pull away and that Verdasco would just go away... Can we at least get Gilbert to admit what a fool he was. :wink2:

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 1

I am just stewing that Fernando lost his focus especially because the chair umpire had the ball kids doing stupid crap that delayed the flow of the match.

Re: 2016 Live Commentary Thread vol. 1

Wow Verdasco (and the chair umpire) broke Verdasco. Love how the chair umpire stops Fernando to have a ball kid tidy up the net cord. After that Fernando was completely distracted. No chair umpire...

Re: Auckland [SF]: Bautista Agut def. Tsonga 3-6 7-6(3) 6-4 (saves 1 MP)

Je suis etonne qu'il existe un Francais qui n'adore pas le Tsonga. Je croyais qu'il est très adore en France!
