Re: White Helmets: Syrian Heroes or Lobbyists for American military interventionism?

Absolutely part of the western propaganda effort in Syria.

Re: Post 2016 US Presidential Election

Whatever your opinion of Trump, I think its actually fairly important for him to do this, just like its important for him to keep doing his online video addresses and to stay engaged on social media....

Re: Moving to Colorado in a few weeks. Any MTFer's near Denver?

We're kind of switching places and climates since I'm going from Calgary (similar to Denver) to Miami and you're headed the opposite way. Enjoy it, it'll be a big change from south Florida but...

Re: Indian Wells R4: Federer def. Nadal 6-2 6-3

After all these years why do people still feed the trolls?

Re: Is Kyrgios the most underrated pusher of all time?

He definitely needs to be more aggressive off the ground to take the next step, but for that he needs to be better with his movement and fitness. Hopefully he will put in the work to do that.

Re: IW R3: Jaziri def. (WC) Fritz 6-4 3-6 6-3

I would have agreed if he was smart enough to use condoms.

Having a baby and getting married at 18 has obviously set him back tennis wise, which seems fairly unavoidable.

Re: Indian Wells R4: Federer def. Nadal 6-2 6-3

Nadal has definitely been a bit better than his abysmal 2015 and 16 but he's still a shell of himself. Glad we at least have a rejuvenated Roger to entertain us at the top of the game and spare us...

Re: Indian Wells QF: Wawrinka def. Thiem 6-4 4-6 7-6(2)

This was a really entertaining match but Thiem needs to start winning some of these tight battles if he wants to make it to the top.

Re: IW R4: N. Kyrgios d. N. Djokovic 6-4, 7-6(3)

Kyrgios' serve was just devastating. This guy is so good when he's on. Hopefully we see more of this and less clowning going forward.

I liked to see him trying to step in on the return but he...

Re: Has Federer finally figured out how to play Nadal?

Nadal has not been Nadal since early 2014. He loses a lot of matches that would have been easily winnable for him in the past.

Federer going to the bigger frame certainly seems to have helped...

Re: Is R. Nadal cursed at Australian Open?

He was never the better player in either match for any length of time to be honest. It's a testament to his level of effort more than anything that he was in either position to begin with.

Re: Who will win RG 2017? vote and discuss

Djokovic is due after a down stretch for him. Seeing Fedal in a final will remotivate him.

Re: Nadal fans: What H2H between Federer and Nadal would make you acknowledge Federer

You have it backwards, the mental edge went with the physical edge.

A lot easier to be mentally strong when you know you can outrun and outlast everyone on tour, and constantly push them with...

Re: Nadal fans: What H2H between Federer and Nadal would make you acknowledge Federer

I say this as someone who is a fan of Nadal.

Federer is obviously the GOAT based on resume. Other than slam count Djokovic has much better career stats as well, though he'll likely catch up on...

Re: AO Final: Federer def Nadal 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3

I don't know why we have so many clowns on this forum who can't just appreciate things for what they are.

Re: AO Final: Federer def Nadal 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3

Really nice throwback to have these two guys battling it out in the finals of a major again. The quality is not the same that it was when they were younger, but still a very enjoyable match. I...

Re: Federer loses to Novak 4 consecutive times in grand slams but wins 18th against N

Neither Nadal nor Federer are what they once were, but Nadal's reliance on his physical gifts have made his decline particularly sharp. If anything, watching these two now versus how they played...

Re: WWW 2017 Australian Open Final : [XXXV] [9] Nadal vs [17] Federer

Don't even care who wins. While at this point I want to see some new champions, I'm going to appreciate this match for what it is. Likely the last major final between these two historical players.

Re: Rank Australian Open QFists from the one you want to win the most to the least

Any outcome is fine now that we're guaranteed not to have Murray vs. Djokovic again. As I said in the Tsonga thread though, my preference is probably as follows:

Tsonga - overdue, though would...

Re: Anybody else rooting for Jo-Willy to win the tournament?

I would love to see Tsonga get a win but would be pretty much ok with any remaining outcome. I'd probably prefer:

Tsonga - overdue, though would have preferred Wimbledon
Dimitrov - has been...

Re: More enjoyable FH to watch: Del Potro's or Federer's?

It depends. Del Potro's very best FHs are just devastating and incredible to watch, especially when he was hitting them on the run in 09. 98% the time though, it's got to be Federer's.

Re: 2017 Grand Slam Winners: Predictions

In reality, it'll probably be another boring year of Djokovic and Murray picking up slams despite not playing as well as their peak performances.

What I'd love to see is 4 different slam winners. ...
