Re: Xavier Malisse: Federer is fun to watch; Djokovic always plays the same way

Djokovic was exciting circa 2006/7.
But since he found the secret to success, ie. don't neccessarily go for winners, just put as many balls back into play as possible and let opponent create...

Re: Seppi to Federer at the net :"It's so difficult to play here."

To be fair, one criticism was more about the conditions causing the ball to behave strangely, saying that hopefully the players can adapt. Was an oblique criticism of the ball, if there was even...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 7

Love that low camera angle.
Can really see the flight of the ball, and low those Fed slices were.

I am writing this after the outcome of the Quito Final. But I will say now that no matter what happens from now til the end of his career, it does not change the fact that Victor Estrella Burgos is...

Re: Educational: watch a fix happening live right now between Velotti and Molchanov

Pfft. He's just paying homage to Djokovic.
Just his luck that the guy on the other side is more mentally tough than Murray.

Re: Tournaments - Off the court pictures + Off season pictures

That's a lamb cutlet.
Haven't met anyone that eats kangaroo meat to be honest.
My local supermarket sells it, but it always gets marked down as no one buys it.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 4

Anyone have an update on the Peliwo match?
Score has not updated for the last ten minutes.
Authom better not retire with Peliwo being double break up and with match point.

Re: Tomic "The scheduling was like ridiculous this year"

That was a dlck move from the organizers.
Got to the ground a bit late and could not get into the court at all.
Was full and no-one wanted to leave, so instead watched Bouchard and had to put up with...

The one being held by the old lady looks a bit like Florian Mayer.
Haven't seen Mayer around lately. Is that why he's being banished...

Re: Brisbane F: [1]R.Federer def. [3]M.Raonic 6-4 6-7(2) 6-4

My biggest take from today's match is that Raonic somewhat has a personality.
Who would have thunk it.
And his ground game wasn't bad either.

Re: Brisbane SF: [1]R.Federer def. [4]G.Dimitrov 6-2 6-2

The more he plays Federer, the further away he is from a win.
Should avoid future encounters or bakery products are a real possibility.

Re: Borna Coric : "At the moment I am the best player of my generation"

Don't worry about the cockiness.
The more successful he gets, the more pc he'll become.
Before long, he'll be giving bland answers in all interviews and everyone will be lamenting where the brash...

Re: Hopman Cup: Janowicz def. Ebden 3-6, 7-5, 6-0

A sterling night for Australian tennis.
Right up there with Stosur's effort.

Re: Live Commentary Thread Vol. 28

Giving the other side double points is too much of a turn around.
Using up your powerplay and not gaining any points is enough for failing to convert your powerplay.

Re: Live Commentary Thread Vol. 28

Need to re-jig the power play.
Should only reward the double points for the person taking the powerplay.
