I don't think it's sad. If anything, it's good for the sport. They'll learn eventually. Once you get hooked up by tennis, it's hard to let it go (at least from my experiance)and you just naturally...

You can declare yourself as Scotish, Chinese, Brazilian but if you're a tennis player with UK citizenship, chances are you'll get the wild card to tournaments in UK.

This would have been true, except, Andy is British - meaning, even though he's from Scotland, he was able to get wild cards to tournaments in England and the slams that give wc to British...
