He should retire, honestly. He's done.

Re: Chris Evert: Federer needs to become a grinder

Nadal hasn't changed his game that much, but he hasn't needed to because the courts all play the same now (i.e. sloooow and high bouncing).

Who are you to tell a player that has won SEVENTEEN grand...

Re: Why is USO least dominated?

So Nadal did something once IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER (serving into the 130s, he didn't "average" 130 even that tournament) and because he hasn't done it since then (nor done it before that), we should...

Re: Rank the level of play/runs of the last five US Open winners

LOLS

Djokovic had ZERO wins over top ten players before he beat Federer in the 2010 semis.

11 Djokovic would beat 2010 Djokovic in straight sets and he beats Nadal 10 in 4 too.

Re: Why does MTF think a crowd always has to support their home player?

And in team sports, the home team sometimes gets booed if they are playing poorly, especially established franchises.

Is that wrong? I, for one, think the fans hold that right too. They pay a lot...

Re: Why does MTF think a crowd always has to support their home player?

Fans can support whoever the hell they want. Say I was attending the 2006 US Open Final. I'm a huge Federer fan, but I have to support Roddick just because he's from my country? What?

Re: What are the best shots in history?

Because he could control the center of the court with it like Nadal could only dream of doing. Because he could cut through even the best defenses with ease with that forehand.

Yes, prime...

Re: What are the best shots in history?

Federer's forehand in his prime was better than Nadal's on everything but clay.

Carry on.

Re: What are the best shots in history?

lol @ the Nadal tards in this thread not only saying Nadal has the best shot, but it's the best "by far".

Give me a break. Federer's forehand circa 2004-2006 was absolutely the most devastating...

Re: Should Nadal play the South American clay swing from now on?

Basel is an event that usually attracts 2-3 top 10 players.

And it's Federer's hometown event, of which he has been going to since he was a child. You don't think Nadal would play an event if they...

Re: Brad Gilbert follows you on Twitter for $50

Hey for only $500 more, you get a "delicious lunch" with that hitting session. That's a steal.

Re: Most consecutive hardcourt GS wins in a row

LMAO, anyone that went to Cahill's twitter page, anyone notice a post by "Andy Mugray" there? Clearly an MTF poster.

Re: USO R3 - Raonic def. Blake 6-3 6-0 7-6

Wow, it's embarrassing for anyone to get bageled by a guy with a return game as poor as Raonic's, let alone a former top tenner like Blake.

Re: US Open R3 : Federer routines Verdasco 6-3 6-4 6-4

26 of 27 points won at the net today. I don't think I've seen a more ridiculous conversion rate than that before.

Re: How many years does Roger has?

The difference is that Federer is past his peak. In his prime, Federer feasted on ball bashers and NEVER lost to them. Nadal has had some head scratching losses in the prime of his career.

Re: Cincy Final: Federer def Djokovic 6-0, 7-6(7)

Routine win by Federer = lose in 5 at the Open.

Nice logic, asshat.

Re: Two Out Of Three Sets At Majors Idea Being Talked About

Re: Slam Winning Distribution (Nadal with 17 slams)

Renshaw won 6 Wimbledon titles in a row (not even the record at a single major though, Tilden won 7 US Open titles in a row).

Re: Toronto Final: Djokovic schools Gasquet 6-3, 6-2

Federer is a far better indoor player than Nole though. Not sure why anyone would expect Djokovic to out-perform Fed in the fall.

Re: Olympics Final: Murray destroys Federer 6-2 6-1 6-4

Certainly the worst loss (in terms of lopsidedness) since he became 'Federer'.
