Re: FIFA Officials Arrested on Corruption Charges; Face Extradition to U.S.

Re: "Ukraine cancels trade pact with EU" and "thousands gather in Kyiv for pro-EU ral

Putin comes to Blatter's defence. A man that runs his Presidency like his own personal empire and ransacks the coffers filled by the sweat and toil of others.

Who could have guessed it?

Re: FIFA Officials Arrested on Corruption Charges; Face Extradition to U.S.

Re: FIFA Officials Arrested on Corruption Charges; Face Extradition to U.S.

How can Blatter face the public after this?

Re: "Ukraine cancels trade pact with EU" and "thousands gather in Kyiv for pro-EU ral

Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - Who wins?

They all must watch the Oscars.

Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - Who wins?

Don't know why the Irish guy did not think of saying, "And here is the Irish vote - YES!"

Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - Who wins?

Israel, Serbia and Australia.

But voting does not go that way. Maybe they could just give it to Australia and tell them that this year the winner gets the contest in perpetuum.

Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - Who wins?

Too many women screaming their big ballads. They are all blurring together. At least the UK charleston number was different.

Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2015 - Who wins?

Celine Dion with a wind machine representing Spain.

But I think she just sang the same song with the same wind machine for Greece 10 minutes ago.

Re: Roland Garros Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 18, 2015)

The original draw has spots for qualifiers. But when people withdraw, creating more open spots, the qualifiers and lucky losers go into the hat and their names get drawn randomly for all the open...

Re: "Ukraine cancels trade pact with EU" and "thousands gather in Kyiv for pro-EU ral

I don't think it would have been madness for Ukraine to look for a better future by linking itself economically with the West. A system that works.

The madness comes from Putin's personal mission to...

More fantasy world of the super soldier.

You always paint a picture that looks like one of those old Soviet propaganda posters showing happy peasants with a bountiful harvest, or smiling labourers...

Re: A prison in Norway.

Yes, but if you engage in petty crime, where the sentence is likely to be a few months? With books, TV and good food, it would be like a retreat. And apparently you are not really locked up most of...

Re: Venezuelan Officials Suspected of Turning Country into Global Cocaine Hub

It is the legacy of Chavez. Everybody knows that.

Maybe we should save that bushel of salt for anything an American citizen says. A new report by the U.S. National Assessment of Educational Progress...

Re: Vatican officially recognizes 'state of Palestine'

You mean Jews and Muslims aree not allowed through the pearly gates? That is not very Christian.

But I guess it levels the playing field for most of the Middle East.

Re: How to “Accidentally” Abort in Chile

Who cares?

The point is that Punky seems to have started this thread because she thought the advice to get hit by a car or fall on a fire hydrant was genuine.

Re: Man fired from his well paid job after heckling female reporter with FHRITP

A privatization bill is before the house this very day. The Liberals want to sell it off as it is an embarrassment to the government, with never-ending price hikes, and a complete mess in the...

Re: Man fired from his well paid job after heckling female reporter with FHRITP

I would agree that it is not meant to be taken literally.

But I also agree that it perfectly acceptable for the man's employers to decide that they do not want a scumbag who is now an embarrassment...

Re: Man fired from his well paid job after heckling female reporter with FHRITP
