Re: Shoulder Exercises? Help?

I had a very bad shoulder when I was 15. It wasn't exercises that helped me, instead it was changing my racquet. I had been using a racquet that was very light and my coach said that it was creating...

Re: How many rackets do you own?

I have had 11 racquets over the years. I sold two, 1 started to crack, and another I lost when I left it on the car roof and drove off - I was not happy that day :-(

Re: Ever thrown a tantrum on court?

Not many people know this, but even Borg used to have major tantrums. I heard that one time his coached punched him in the locker room and he never complained again....

Tantrums are fun to watch -...

Re: Playing on synthetic grass...tips?

Because the ball shoots through, you have to elongate the shape of your ground strokes.

The best example I can think of is Jimmy Connor's backhand - his stroke was straight back and straight...

Re: To old?

What ever your level there is ALWAYS someone who can beat you.

If you get too hung up on the winning and losing, you'll miss the point of playing tennis.

Those who get the most from tennis
1 try...

Prince Play Days

A few years ago I went to a Prince "Play Day" in the UK - it was an event designed to promote their racquets. They had maybe 20 racquets to try out.

Are these events still in existence? What about...

Re: Serve and Volley

A good practice is to start rallying the ball from the baseline and then move in to the net without breaking the rally. Then you can move back to the baseline and start again, without stopping....

Re: Players you hate facing

A few years ago I would have agreed with you. Nowadays, I see it as an opportunity for me to learn something. Some matches you have to be patient whilst they waste time bouncing the ball 32 times,...

Re: help please?

Personally my double handed backhand works best when it is left hand dominated. In practice I sometimes play left handed for 10 mins just to help get by left arm into the stroke.

As far as the kick...
