Re: Who's better ? Clayokovic or Grassdal ?

Djokovic on clay is clearly better than Nadal. Of course, empirically, he has zero titles to Nadal's nine. But facts are for suckers. I ain't no sucker. Djokovic is the best.

Re: Who has the best tennis touch in the game right now?

So just to be clear, by "touch", you mean a fictional, personalized definition that bears nothing in common with the actual usage or accepted definition of the word?

In that case I'm not sure. ...

Re: I think I've come up with a ruleset that addresses the most common gripes of MTF.

One overlooked issue, no-one posting here actually watches tennis.

So these rules will have no impact on people's gripes here.

Re: Which 1 GS winner surprised you the most?

Cilic.

It's not suspicious at all that he has a history of doping, had a crap season leading up to the summer, then won the US Open playing at a dominant level that he has never even sniffed...

Re: Barcelona R2: Estrella Burgos def. (4) Cilic 6-4 6-4

Estrella Burgos must be taking whatever Cilic was last August.

No wait I mean probably working really hard.

I mean no their both dopers.

I mean wait no it's totally normally to drastically...

Re: Sampras 1981 v. Schüttler 1988

The bench is the key to the calculus of it all, we are in agreement.

BUT, if the bench were to be German made, perhaps it would hinder Sampras? Perhaps there would be an inherent bias engrained...

Re: Who is more taltenated: Lahyani or Nouni?

When I was little I used to huff glue out of a Burger King bag with this homeless guy under the train overpass. I was around 4 years old. We would talk about philosophy and make wine in this old...

Re: del Potro US Open 2009 vs Murray US Open 2008

Del Potro clearly. Much taller, much stronger fundamentals. It would be a total mismatch in the post, Del Potro could back him down all day. Further, Del Potro has a sneaky face up game, I...

Sampras 1981 v. Schüttler 1988

Best of 3 sets.

Medium pace hard court.

Green court.

September 7.

SLIGHTLY worn lines, but still recently resurfaced. Within the last week.

Re: del Potro RG 2009 vs Ferrer RG 2013

I feel like everyone is glossing over the gushing hubristic waterfall contained in this statement.

I left a yelp review for my local bagel joint the other day. Oh wait I'm sorry. I meant to say: ...

Re: Simple logical concept that destroys Federer's 04-07 peak myth

This is aggressively stupid.

Like, when you're trying to put a drunk person to sleep, and they keep getting up and yelling, and you're just like bro, lay the hell down and shut up, no-one wants to...

Yea I've always loved Cilic's game. My favorite part was his ability to consistently lose before the quarterfinals in the majority of the tournaments he played in for essentially his entire career...

Re: Isner's clutchness

Bro, I know. Tennis magazine also said he prefers 4 eggs omelettes to 3 egg.

Balancing the scales I feel like thats totally not clutch. I don't know. Wild shit.

Re: Sam Querrey should be ashamed of himself

I don't know if anyone here had to do analogies in school, but Sam Querrey is the human equivalent of tepid water. Lukewarm tea also wrks.

Re: ATP Hunger Games

I feel like Nalbandian is the most likely to drop a hot crap in the woods, but be too lazy to dig a hole to bury it, and then get eaten by bears that it attracts in the evening while he's sleeping.

Re: Isner's clutchness

I heard Isner prefers books over magazines on plane trips.

A good book is more substantive, I totally get that, you get that whole framed and focused narrative thing going on.

But magazines...

Re: USO Champ is looking fine as hell & feeling excited. "The Shoulder is doing alrig

Surely the ATP would never sweep any sort of chemical assistance under the rug after a lifetime mediocre player at the age of 26 suddenly decimated multiple top 10 players like they were paper...

Thats impressive that you had your phone fully charged at 8:00am.

I usually forget to charge it overnight, have to charge it in the car in the morning.
