Re: CH Granby R2: (Q) Felix Auger Aliassime d. Darian King 7-5 6-3

Not really.

His backhand reminds me of both Djokovic and Nishikori.. has some twitches like Nishikori but it's also often a smooth flowing stroke a la the Djokovic BH. The forehand looks a...

Re: CH Granby R2: (Q) Felix Auger Aliassime d. (8) Darian King 7-5 6-3

Serve is decent, it's his ROS that has been devastating. His return is superb.

Re: Do people still use "The Big 4" term?

Term "The Big.." is fluid depending on numbers and players.

Re: The imbalance in Tennis right now. No threats to Djokovic. New Era?

You are banned, but you may catch this.

Djokovic was indeed hungry after losing the French. Hungrier than I have EVER seen him. VICIOUSLY hungry.

Grass is not clay or slow HC.

Re: At his peak, is Wawrinka a better offensive player than the Big 4?

Djokovic and Nadal have better defence than they have offence. Offensively, they have been and can be great, but their offence doesn't really define them.

Re: Novak Djokovic - 3 slams in 3 years, is he really that good?

Federer-Nadal have played three times at the AO, or are you only counting one match.

Re: What rivalry produced the most boring matches?

Oh look, someone disagrees strongly with my opinion and then proceeds to ask if I even watch tennis.

I watch an inordinate amount of tennis.

Next.

Re: What's Nadal biggest problem these days?

I don't know if Nadal is in any serious physical decline but he's certainly in a physical slump and a mental slump when he comes up against players who test him physically. He currently has a fitness...

Re: WWW: Queens ATP 500

The Halle draw is pitiful by comparison. Queens is STACKED, and I wanted Federer to enter this one.

Re: WWW:Stuttgart F:[1]R.Nadal vs [8]V.Troicki

But Nadal is the best ever seen?

Well at least we knew where he was.

Re: Novak Djokovic - 3 slams in 3 years, is he really that good?

Not sure about teens — unless another Nadal-like prodigy comes along — but certainly the average age of Slam champions will plummet.

That just shows how spoilt we've been by Fedal.

Re: WWW:Stuttgart F:[1]R.Nadal vs [8]V.Troicki

Hopefully Nadal snags this one and pounds Troicki into the ground. Not often that I route for Nadal.

Re: What's Nadal biggest problem these days?

Consistency.

He's put in some good performance but consistency has been the problem, whether that be match to match or over the course of a longer match.

Re: Does Wawrinka's second slam win lessen Murray's legacy?

Though not on grass and there's not much to suggest that his peak play is better than Murray's on faster HC either. Stanimal is a slow court beast at peak.

Re: On to Wimbledon. Is Djokovic favourite?

I just always felt that the crux of Novak's season was RG and that if he'd have won he'd have taken his foot off the gas a bit. Now he has something to prove going into Wimbledon.

Murray is...

I had Murray as the fave before the RG final. I now have him as joint fave with Djokovic.

Re: Did the fans applaud Novak to taunt him

Yes, but not in a malicious way. They wanted to convince Djokovic of how much they appreciated his efforts at the French Open over the years. They didn't taunt him to insult him.
