Re: Australian Open 2011, 17-30 January 2011, Melbourne, Australia

I was at the match between David and Berankis last night.

It was pretty obvious to me at the start that David was not comfortable. When he tossed his serve, he seemed to look a bit confused. I...

Re: David has to aim at winning all tournaments he takes part in

Did your mother neglect to teach you any manners? The word 'please' comes to mind.

I posted the photos in the appropriate thread: the AO Open thread. I did not start a new thread unlike this one. I...

Re: Phillip Kohlschreiber cheering thread

Add me as a new fan! First match I saw of Philipp's was his battle v Roddick (until 2.30am in Melbourne!). I don't like Roddick anyway but the way Philipp handled Roddick's abuse towards the...

Re: Australian Open 2008

LOL Yeah. Maybe we can have a Nalby-Kohli forum Hahahaha!

I just came back from the Ferrero v Ferrer match and Ferrer was just brilliant. Juan Carlos was really really good but Ferrer was just...

Re: Australian Open 2008

LOL. I guess I wasn't the only one who was won over by Philipp Kohlschreiber (and daydreaming of a Philipp v David final). Should have known though that this was the group most likely to fall for...

Re: Australian Open 2008

I disagree. If we believe David was telling the truth in his pre-Kooyong interview, he said he didn't even celebrate his birthday this year because he was so busy preparing for the Oz Open.

What a...

Re: Australian Open 2008

I wouldn't be surprised if his back flared up again. He was moving so badly, his serve was way off and he didn't seem to be stretching well at all. The first two points in his last serve were hit...

Re: Australian Open 2008

:)

Maybe David watched Federer's "day" match which went on until around 11pm and Hewitt's "night" match which went from midnight to 4.30am.

I'm so disappointed :(

Re: Australian Open 2008

That's the worst match I've ever seen David play. Poor thing, he just had a horrid day.

Guess I'm giving my Dad my 3 Oz Open tennis tickets left...

Re: Australian Open 2008

FINALLY, he's on TV! Oh, he just did a winner. This score is very worrying indeed but we've just had the last men's 5 matches on Rod Laver go to 5 sets so hopefully we'll see another one...

Re: Australian Open 2008

It's raining now and it's been drizzling most of the day. I think David's match will likely be moved to Vodafone tonight. I'll decide whether to go or not around 4pm.

That's a great idea JISArg. ...

Re: Australian Open 2008

Yes, I totally expected it to be on Centre Court but it's good for my finances that it isn't. Though it's predicted to rain tomorrow so like tonight's feature night match in MCA, it will probably...

It was an amazing shot - not only because he got it but it was also a winner even though Peter was in perfect position to get David's reply. It was great to see it in person. David was facing the...

Re: David News & Articles

I'd be there in 2!! There's that thing about not looking like a model though. Do you think he can still feel flabby bits and cellulite even if I blindfolded him?

Re: Australian Open 2008

Oh, the rude thing was just to the ballboys. As I said, they told me that David was impatient with them when he thought they were too slow - nothing to do with the crowd. Also today, the crowd was...
