Re: Rafael Nadal pulls out of Cincinnati

I was there in the stadium during that UNFORGETTABLE moment when he lost to Djokovic. Hyped up match that went to waste.

Re: Becker's dig at Lendl

Becker didn't care as much about the FO as Lendl did about Wimby.

Re: Wimbledon R4: Injured Federer beats cluless Malisse 7:6(1) 6:1 4:6 6:3

Being injured or having the fear of carrying an injury might be Federer's best chance of winning this. Basically he has nothing to lose. That is how he won Indian Wells this year. He stops monkeying...

Re: RG 2012 Final Nadal - Djokovic 6-4 6-3 2-6 1-2* play resumes monday 1pm

What do you mean break will help Nadal? He is down a break. Weather break will have no effect on either person.

Re: Roland Garros QF : Djokovic def. Tsonga 6-1 5-7 5-7 7-6(6) 6-1 saving 4 match poi

I hope he repeats that on Friday when it really counts ;).

Re: Roland Garros QF : Djokovic def. Tsonga 6-1 5-7 5-7 7-6(6) 6-1 saving 4 match poi

When having MP against Nole, serve an ace (like Fed RG'11) or change up the rallies hitting slices or bring him up to the net etc...

Re: RG Main Draw Discussion Thread (Draw in OP)

There is no way Rafa isn't winning this.

Re: WWW Madrid F: Federer VS Berdych

In the long run that might actually be a good thing - not getting to Sampras' record in 2010. Perhaps it is Sampras' record that is keeping him motivated to play this well. Else we would probably be...

Re: Madrid R3 : Verdasco def. Nadal 6-3 3-6 7-5 (comes back from 2-5* down)

I lost the last 3 matches in my league after being up 2 breaks in the decider. Now Rafa knows how I feel.

Mental Midget!

Re: Madrid R1: Davydenko def. Karlovic 7-6(4) 6-3

Would be wise for Kolya to give a walkover to Nadal to preserve that H2H.

Re: Miami Final: Djokovic vanquishes Murray 6-1, 7-6(4)

Andy played a very tentative final. He should have taken bigger cuts at the ball on Nole's service games. He is still mentally not ready to win bigger matches against the top 3.

Re: Miami Final: Djokovic vanquishes Murray 6-1, 7-6(4)

Boring match! If the finals were played later in the evening would have probably produced a more competitive match.

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

Don't forget that FH pass he gave Roddick to get broken in the TB.

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

Well at least Fed went out with more drama this time unlike last year's out to lunch loss in Miami. Mirka was looking visibly upset that she might not be able to enjoy sunny Miami any longer ;).

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

I doubt it was a strategy. He went for it a few times during that game and it worked. He tried it again later that set and it did not work. The odds favored him and it worked when he wanted it the...

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

Guerilla warfare worked for Andy. Came down to a couple pts just like Novak's loss at IW. Novak gifted and de-gifted that match, Roger was blindsided.

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

I would take skipping Monte Carlo to stop monkeying around and letting Del Potro win USO'09. That would have potentially given him the Roger slam. That was the worst "decision" of his career. Would...

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

This does not demonstrate a loss in Fed's form at all. He played good tennis except for a couple points. Roddick played 4 (or maybe 3) very high risk FHs to break and eventually win the match. Fed...

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

That go-for-broke Roddick game totally rattled Federer. His service % dropped drastically after that.

Roddick really didn't need Stefanki to coach him to beat Fed and break in that game. Close your...

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

Being a Federer fan, I am a tad sad that he lost but I am quite happy for Roddick to be honest. Now please keep up this play and win the whole thing.

Re: Miami R3: [31] Roddick def. [3] Federer 7-6(4) 1-6 6-4

Bad mistake by Fed to go to Andy's FH on that 0-30 pt in that game he got broken. What in the world was he thinking?? Anyways well DESERVED victory for Andy. I was feeling sorry for him when I saw...
