Re: DC QF: France - USA 1:3; Isner def. Tsonga 6-3 7-6(4) 5-7 6-3

Maybe Isner is like a clay version of Sampras.

Re: DC QF: France - USA 1:3; Isner def. Tsonga 6-3 7-6(4) 5-7 6-3

The only guy I see beating Isner at Roland Garros this year is Nadal. Hope they are on opposite sides of the draw and we get a thrilling 5 set final. Isner is already the only man ever to force Nadal...

Tsonga has the most silly looking facial expressions when he plays Davis Cup especially. Was funny to watch how pathetic he looked out there :yeah: what an idiot :yeah:

Re: If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

I actually have seen Murray play over 100 times, and his groundstrokes are more powerful than Tsonga, when he goes for broke. You can watch too if you want.

Re: If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

There is an entire thread devoted to Murray hitting a 124mph forehand in 2011 http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=188548

Here's another fan observing Murray's forehand velocity...

Re: If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

I agree, Murray's serve is his weakness, 2nd serve anyway. But Agassi's 2nd serve was a nothing shot for the first few years and then added kick to his 2nd serve to make it less attackable. That's a...

Re: Uncle Toni gives update: Treatment has been done....Will be recovered for Monte C

No chance of Dj ever winning Roland Garros. But I'm glad he's trying, because the more he wants it the more it will hurt him :wavey:

Re: If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

I know it sounds like a big transformation, but in essence its extremely simple. Murray doesn't need to think anymore, he just needs to hit hard. Hit hard into the corners. Number one rule - End The...

Re: If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

Yeah I don't mind Murray using slice to set up the point (and I agree it is necessary vs Dj, as Federer has proven), but slice doesn't end the point. To end the point, Murray has to actually hit...

Re: If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

That's because Murray has told himself "I will play defensive when I need to, and I will attack when I need to". If Murray instead tells himself "I am going to attack from start to finish, and I will...

Re: If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

Murray is twice as skillful as Tsonga. Tsonga is a lost cause as far as winning slams go. He has no future no matter what style he chooses.

If Murray attacked as much as Tsonga, he'd be winning slams

I have no doubt that if Murray attacked as much as Tsonga he'd be winning slams. Murray generates incredible speed on his groundstrokes when he attacks. And it works. Murray was down 2-5 in the 5th...

Re: Who will win more ATP titles? Djokovic or Nadal

Those clowns have long failed. People were claiming Nadal would retire by age 26. That's the common age I heard. Well he's approaching his 26th birthday (June) and he's been in the final of the last...

Re: Who will win more ATP titles? Djokovic or Nadal

Nadal is a machine, he will win clay events every year for many more years after his prime. Dj is not dominant enough on any one surface. When Djokovic declines, he won't be able to win anything on...

Re: Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the

Federer would have to beat Nadal at Roland Garros to do that. And last time they met at Roland Garros (2011) Nadal won 6-1 in the 4th set. Just be grateful that Federer got lucky in 2009, and...

Question In 2012 how do you rate each of top4 when compared with your new year's expectations?

Nadal: When I heard he had a new racquet weight (5 grams extra at top of racquet, after he said he found 10 grams unplayable in a September trial) and that he had only practiced with it for 2 weeks...

Re: Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the

Exactly my point. Even if Dj makes the final of Madrid/Rome, Nadal can bridge the gap by a combined 1600 points. 800 point swing at each. Huge gains in the bid for top ranking :yeah:

Oh yeah I've seen the current rankings. I'm quite happy with Nadal's situation, big gains at Madrid/Rome :yeah:
