Re: Federer withdraws from Rogers Cup

He probably felt like he overplayed last year before USO. I don't get the fuss about the second seed..He just might take a crack at Djokovic in the semis rather than the Final playing little more...

Re: Nadal never had his own era

Yall tards (Fed/Djoko's) should thank your lucky stars Nadal was injury prone, or he would have already made a mockery of the Slam record

Re: Nadal never had his own era

Nadal never had his own era = an injury-marred Nadal prime/peak was played in one of the strongest tennis era of all time, especially at the top (2008-2013)

Re: Hamburg R1: [3] RBA def. Coric 6-3,6-4

Well those are his 2 signature carrer wins and the 2 major source of his high ranking (Basel/Dubai)..Long story short, as player in vaccuum, Coric is definitely not worth those high profile scalps..

Re: WWW? Hamburg R1: [1] R. Nadal vs. F. Verdasco

Nadal might as well retire for his fans if he lose a third consecutive match to Verdasco

Re: Nadal will play Hamburg

Not sure if this is great decision if confirmed..Should have opted for Washington instead..Winning Clay MMs hasn't done him any good to his form this go around..But i see the logic: he wants to be in...

Re: Race for the #2 seed at USO - Can Murray catch Federer?

If Federer doesn't play in Montreal, Murray probably leapfrogs him considering he would have extra 1500 pts available to work with..Either way Andy, isn't an obstacle to Federer's Slam quest, maybe...

Re: Roger Federer has only won 1 major in the last 5 years (Since AO 2010)

and he hasn't reached a non-Wimbledon Final since RG'11..Just shows you that Slams don't grow up on tree after certain age (29/30)even for someone whose game has aged quite well and enjoyed a...

Re: Do you feel like the season is already over?

Not really..But it's been clear for sometime now(since Miami maybe) that this going to be Djokovic's year with how much Nadal looked out of it..Obviously other than wanting Rafa to turnaround his...

Re: Which event(s) will Djokovic win the rest of 2015...

Seems about right to me..A similar year to Federer's 2009 with someone pulling a mini-Delpotro performance against him in USO Final..

Players whose performance improved/declined sharply at a single event over career

Most obvious case is Nadal @ Wimbledon: F-F-W-A-W-F-R2-R1-R4-R2 (4 straight losses to player ranked outside Top 100 before QF)

Federer @ Miami: QF-F-QF-3R-W-W-4R-QF-SF-4R-SF-3R-A-QF-A (not a single...

Re: Which event(s) will Federer win the rest of 2015....

I think he can still beat Djokovic in Cincy/Shanghai type of court in BO3..Indoors has become Novak domain lately and that London O2 surface is slow as molasses; Federer might take a set here and...
