Re: Miami R3: [26] Verdasco def. [2] Nadal 6-4 2-6 6-3

And now Monaco's going to do a Seth Rollins and cash in :spit:

Re: Miami bottom half of the draw collapsed!

I'd rather he puts over a guy like Thiem in the QF than gets turkified in the final.

Re: Miami R3: [26] Verdasco def. [2] Nadal 6-4 2-6 6-3

Nadal's only RG loss came in the last 16 and Djokovic's closest effort against him came in an SF.

You tell me if Novak would rather play him before the final or in the final.

Re: Miami R3: [8] Berdych def. [26] Tomic, 6-7(4) 7-6(3) 6-1 (saved 4 MPs)

Two of the biggest quitters on tour.

Berdych quits, Tomic chokes, and then Tomic quits in the third.

Gladiatorial match.

Re: Miami R3: [26] Verdasco def. [2] Nadal 6-4 2-6 6-3

It's actually better for Nole if Nadal keeps dropping down ranking spots cos he's got more chance of taking him in an RG QF/SF than an RG F.

Re: Miami R3: [26] Verdasco def. [2] Nadal 6-4 2-6 6-3

That game from Verdasco to break in the third, 4 forehand howitzers, unreal :worship:

BTW you know Nadal's in a mess when his slave Monaco is lasting longer in mandatory tournaments than him.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

Has a single net cord gone Verdasco's way in this match? :spit:

Re: Miami R3: Mannarino def. Wawrinka 76(4) 76(5)

Same old nonsense when Wawrinka and/or Cilic lose a match, fluke slam, give it back etc

Re: WWW Miami R4: [28] Adrian Mannarino vs. Dominic Thiem

Thiem hopefully. No way is Mannarino the more exciting shotmaker, even if I don't mind him.

Re: Miami R3: Mannarino def. Wawrinka 76(4) 76(5)

Wawrinka looks like he's given up caring after last year.

Re: Who is the greatest football player ever ?

France 06 were a bit different from 1998-00 which had peak Desailly, peak Vieira, peak Thuram, Barthez before he turned into a clown. France 06 Zidane basically carried, along with a clown coach.

Re: Who is the greatest football player ever ?

Pretty close between Messi and Maradona but the former probably takes it. Maradona won the World Cup, but Messi influenced probably the greatest club side of all time.

Re: Miami R3: [3] Murray def. [27] Giraldo 6-3 6-4

Looked alright till *5-2 then  Funniest thing about the match was Sky afterwards pointing out Scotland had conceded to Gibraltar

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

Lucky that Murray has one of the best ROSs of all time, if it was even just decent he'd be nowhere with that crap, crap serve.

Re: Miami R2: [1]N.Djokovic def. M.Klizan 6-0 5-7 6-1

Bit of a weird match, it was almost like Novak just decided to have a bit of fun and make the crowd remember the match as 'money's worth' or something'

Worse opposition/competition than a couple...

Re: Miami R2: Dolgopolov def. Robredo 67(1) 63 75

Tennis wins, at least, even if humanity-wise Dolgo is awful.

Re: WWW? Miami R3: [2] Nadal vs [29] Verdasco

Nadal in straights. Verdasco's only win in this match-up was so bizarre I can't even fathom the idea of him winning another one.
