Re: Davis Cup response to Sports Illustrated

I agree that the schedule of Davis Cup is a problem, although I don't see him offering a proper solution beyond have a World Cup format, which isn't really a solution. It's just a very loose idea...

Re: 50 Shades of Tennis

You're right. For some reason I thought that happened pre-2005 and so didn't include it. I should have double checked and put it in for sure. Only first 3 entries are from 2005/2006, the rest 2007...

Re: 50 Shades of Tennis

2005 was the cut off as far as I went back, otherwise would have found a way to include Coria/Gaudio Hamburg 2003 incident.

Re: 50 Shades of Tennis

You're probably right about dividing it, but once I got to working on it I wanted it all completed and out there as one story/article, but it definitely tests the strength of a PC/laptop - for sure!...

Re: Australian Open F: [1] Novak Djokovic def. [2] Rafael Nadal 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7, 7

That looked like it was more difficult for them to handle than the previous 6 hours.

Haven't read the thread but will be surprised if fans of either player haven't accused the other of faking...

Re: MariaV is dead RIP the others have fun - Rafachat Vol. 76

No different from how you are now on this forum, sucking up and stabbing people in the back at every turn.

You've got as much loyalty as a mercenary.

I didn't read the Federer forum after the SFs...

Re: MariaV is dead RIP the others have fun - Rafachat Vol. 76

We'll see. If Nadal can't beat Djokovic at the French Open, then I'll convert to the thought that Nadal won't ever beat him again in a big match.

Let's say they meet in the FO final because del...

Re: MariaV is dead RIP the others have fun - Rafachat Vol. 76

That's because Federer's prime years are no longer. And because Nadal has always been in Federer's head. And it's true to say Djokovic was in Nadal's head the whole of 2011, but this first loss in...

Re: MariaV is dead RIP the others have fun - Rafachat Vol. 76

Re: MariaV is dead RIP the others have fun - Rafachat Vol. 76

That's just too easy a conclusion to jump to.

Who is arguably the greatest clay courter of all time? Nadal or Djokovic? Who has 6 French Open titles? Nadal or Djokovic?

Re: MariaV is dead RIP the others have fun - Rafachat Vol. 76

Re: MariaV is dead RIP the others have fun - Rafachat Vol. 76

We'll see, it's exactly this kind of thinking that caused the books to push Nadal out to 2nd favourite for the French Open during the tournament. Hopefully the same happens this year so I can have...
