Re: R2: Djokovic def. Hanescu 6-7(8) 7-6(6) 3-1 ret.

He is usualy gracious when he wins -even with walkover or retirement from opponent.

Never, absolutely never when he looses.

Tommorow t-line pole will beat this Faker.

Re: R2: Djokovic def. Hanescu 6-7(8) 7-6(6) 3-1 ret.

Hane was teaching the Faker for most of the match.
It was pitty that he was injured and could not finish him off.

He was really injured, probably too tired - he came through the qualies to MD.

Re: Madrid08 R2 WWW: Federer vs. Stepanek

Roger stated just before the start of the Madrid that he is still tired pretty much.

Re: Madrid 1R- Marin Cilic beats Olivier Rochus 6-3 7-5

Marin did some unusual WE from the BH, but just a few.
Actually that shot made the difference in the rally, especially cross court.

His serve was quite good today in fact, in one of his games...

Madrid R1: Gilles Simon beats Igor Andreev 4:6, 6:1, 7:6 (7)

Very close match, Simon is one of the best defenders in men's tennis nowadays.
Very tight TB, and great eyes Gilles (for the Hawk Eye).

Re: Madrid Q2: Granollers (ESP) def Ljubicic (CRO) 7/5 7/5

Absolutely deserving title.
The guy was rock solid throughout the match.
Very good baseline strokes, especially backhand cross court - it is his bread and butter shot.

Marat was today outplayed....
