Re: IW 2011. Donald Young. Finally the breakthrough we have all been waiting for?

Could be Top 30 at his best... not much more, but it is not that bad. I wouldn't mind being Top 30 in the world in my job.

Re: Paris SF: Are you kidding me! Monfils d. Federer 7-6(7), 6-7(1), 7-6(4)

There is something wrong in tennis when you see a clown winning against the best player in history. Clownfils can only run and jump, he is a disgrace for tennis and sport in general....

Re: WWW Gulbis vs Chardy

2 talented players but Chardy's form hasn't been great recently. I expect Gulbis to win in 2.

Re: Toronto QF: G. Simon def. M. Cilic 3-6, 6-2, 6-3

All Simon's opponents got bored playing him and they lose. Anyway congrats Gilles for your first Semi-final in a MS! :)

Re: M. Llodra (FR) advances into R16, defeats S. Bolelli (IT) (7-6)(6-4)(7-6)

First time I see Bolelli, he's a good player and will be a solid Top 25 in the future.

Wasn't the Scot supposed to be in quater-finals already?

Re: Ernests Gulbis

He seems rather talented but nothing special. And when you lose to Tsonga 3 and 2, that means there's still a long way to go.

Re: Florent Serra?

He only played 2 finals though ;) .. Well I agree with the majority here, he's not your typical French player, neither talented nor fragile, just a solid baseliner that can upset 1 or 2 top 10 when...

Re: French Tennis, Anyone?

French tennis is ok, both women and men teams are competitive. Gasquet or/and Monfils will probably win a big one soon or later... but of course it can always be better and Federer is not French.

Re: Gasquet def Soderling 4-6 6-3 6-3(Lyon)

Interesting win for Richard but Clement will be tough to beat as always when he plays in France :help: .. In fact Clement is now the favorite to win the tourney.
