Re: Any other Murray fans feel extremely frustrated about this season?

Yep. Federer pretty much just acts as something of a slam spoiler these days; RG'11 for example.

I think most Djokovic fans would have been happier if he had beaten Murray to claim the title. They...

Re: Any other Murray fans feel extremely frustrated about this season?

Wow you found that fast...

Yes, Wawrinka is my least favourite player of 2015. Overall it's Federer though.

Re: Any other Murray fans feel extremely frustrated about this season?

Don't know if I've quite gotten over Wimbledon yet tbh. Yes Murray's form wasn't that great all tournament, but I at least wanted him to get another crack against Djokovic on grass, at home, since...

Cincinatti: Federer
USO: Djokovic

Re: What's more likely - Tsonga defending Rogers Cup or Cilic defending US Open ?

Tsonga more likely, but we're talking 1% chance vs 0.1% here .

Re: M.Muzza.M Chat

I have a poor memory but I don't think Murray was so susceptible to scoreboard pressure before 2014?

I honestly think Murray would be better off skipping Canada than Cinci, but I guess with the old...

Re: Have you ever been temporarily banned on MTF? And for what?

Had a short ban in my first year here because I didn't realise A - Comments included in bad reps could be reported to the mods and B - That anyone would be pathetic enough to do so .

Re: Is Murray overhyped on grass?

I remember when the Wimbledon'13 draw came out the general consensus was that Djokovic had a bye to the final. Of course with the way the tournament worked out Murray ended up with the...

Re: If Del Potro had won the SF's of the W 2013 and faced Murray in the Finals....

Basically this. The only 'unknown' is how would Murray cope going into a Wimbledon final being a heavy favourite.

Re: Dimitrov:"This is the summer of the new beginning. The results will soon be seen"

Will be interesting to see if anything actually changes. He essentially wasted about a 3rd of his prime trying to be some backhandless grinder under Rasheed.

Re: WWW DC SF: Great Britain v Australia

Hopefully it's in Scotland again. The atmosphere at Glasgow was far superior to what it was at Queens, and I doubt many Australian fans could be bothered to turn up .

Re: Murray fans what would you prefer us open or davis cup?

I never really got the sense Murray cared that much about winning the WTF. Could have something to do with him losing out on the SF spot that one time due to game difference. It's a bit of a nonsense...

Re: Murray fans what would you prefer us open or davis cup?

USO obviously. A better question might be WTF or DC, in which case I'd have to put some thought into it .

Re: Can Great Britain win the 2015 Davis Cup ?

Might give Ward a punter's chance too (he did beat Querrey on clay after all).

Is a clay court even a possibility in the UK in September though? :p

Re: Can Great Britain win the 2015 Davis Cup ?

Would be awesome if Murray could have the home slam, Olympic Gold and DC. He'll be a firm favourite to win all singles matches from now on, though if he's going to do this play all 3 days thing in...

Re: Davis Cup QF: Murray def. Simon 4-6 7-6 6-3 6-0 [GBR def. FRA 3-1]

Was very worried there during the second set. Impressive effort from Murray this weekend, but it looks like they might have to rethink playing him on all 3 days in future ties.

I feel a bit for...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 21

I don't know. I think the Gasquet from Wimbledon would have routined this Murray - who was genuinely dreadful for a set and three quarters.

The fact that he wasn't picked makes you feel Gasquet...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 21

Tbh this court has been a very dangerous move for a 1 man team like GB. Fortunate Murray hasn't seriously hurt himself seriously so far.
